[Question] links

Now supposedly when someone learns something and posts it, then everyone else asks for a link to prove the credibitly of what he said but since the rules disallow links from other sites as means of advertising, how can someone prove the credibility of his sources if he can't post them?:mad:_@:

You mean to quote a link? But even if I quote it, won't it be considered still an advertsing since the link can be viewed? Besides, if I quote what it says the link as a link and copy it here, won't it have still no credibilty since it might jsut be BS that I wrote?

It's easy mate, add a spoiler and put the text/link in the spoiler tag.

Example:

You can always link . If they cba to google, then their input isn't worthy of the discussion.

It's still a link.

You can simply mention the name of the source instead of providing hot link in such cases. No need to add URL of that site.
