I was just re-reading chapter 605 and was thinking why the body of Rin was so important that the mist sent out such a large platoon to get her and were doing everything to not let the enemy get her body. They were in a war at that time if I'm not mistaken so she must've been crucial and maybe she could change the tide of that entire war. Now I remember when Suigetsu found that scroll at Oro's lair, he said that the content of that scroll could give them control over the entire war.
We don't know what Obito will do with her remains. She is last seen when Obito is waking up in "hell".
After that battle there will be question marks in both villages about what happened at that battlefield. Knowing Orochimaru, he will be very interested to what happened. So maybe he did a lot of research to what happened and he finds things out about what was so special about Rin and he wrote it down in that scroll.
The chance that I'm entirely wrong about this theory is pretty big, but that's why it's just a theory.
