This chapter was confusing, so can anyone explain what exactly Limbo is?

It's where there's another Madara living in the shadow realm where people who don't have rinnegan can't see him.

The shadow madara is in another dimension and can make physical attacks from there. only rinnegan can see it and senjutsu sense it. Limbo only has a short period of timespan tho.

Limbo creates a "shadow realm" of the area Madara occupies. He can use his real self and his shadow self to attack. The Rinnegan can see through it, which is why Sasuke is able to fight him.
