Some people are confuse on what Limbo is, so I have dedicated this thread in explaining.
Limbo was first introduced on Chapter 659 page 14, where madara unleashes an invisible force that knocks back all of the Bijuu
we then see the jutsu again here, when naruto dodge it, once again we can't really see what force is behind the jutsu
Since its something that the normal eye can't see I went to wiki to find out any mythology behind the word Limbo, since kishi like to put myths into his works.
I found out that Limbo is similar to the word purgatory, a place that souls wait to enter either Hell or Heaven. This would make a lot of sense since the RInnegan gives the user power over life and death.
This upcoming chapter sasuke is finally able to see this dimension, plain.

So It would seem that madara's rinnegan give him the ability to enter Limbo Dimension whenever he wants, its like splitting his soul to enter Limbo, Only he has only a few minutes there, where the soul return backs to his body.
Also it seem that he can not use Jutsu In this Limbo Dimension, Since If that was possible we would have seen naruto and sasuke being constantly hit by Jutsu.
Limbo's weakness is Sage jutsu [power] as you can see here

So in conclusion what do I think Limbo is :A jutsu that allows madara to split his soul temporary to enter another dimension,a plain between life and death, where he is able to evade the senses of any regular shinobi, but is only restricted to using taijutsu only.
