Don't think damage returns to normal user.

When the Senjutsu is able to harm the Juubi Jin,it should be able to affect the techniques as well.

i agree this might be a way to hurt him. pile on all the damage at once. every jutsu does have a weakness.

I thought it was Sage of six Paths Senjutsu that can harm the Limbo Clone.

Naruto used senpou (senjutsu techniques) against Limbo shadow & it seems to work effectively

However I’m not so sure whether the damage really returns to madara or not.
Although I think we’ll know about that soon enough.

Senjutsu works on Juubi Jins (same can be applied to the techniques they use as well) - We have to see in the upcoming chapters !!
