Naruto and Sasuke couldnt hit the Limbo's with their normal attacks. Only with their six paths attacks.

If you dont have six paths attacks, than you can smash them with Totsuka all day and you wont get anywhere.

Doesnt matter if Totsuka and Yata are spiritual.
Only the jutsu and chakra of the six paths can hit Limbo clones.

Sasuke had to charge his chidori with six paths chakra power.
A normal chidori wouldnt work.
