The shadow returns to madara and the damage the shadow took goes to madara as well or so what I get from this scan.

you do realise that white guy is limbo not original(original is one with sword in chest) ,limbo arm was wounded and you can see limbo returning to original body .After that we dont see wound on original.

Just think about by that logic if you kill Limbo you kill original one which is nonsense also Limbo clone was sealed and his movement was restricted with TSB sticks (Rods) yet Madara didn´t suffer from that at all

big attacks like tbb madara would simply tsb block, or petra, and the overlapping time is literally seconds since madara limbo swapped a few panels after his shadow returned to him.

make perfect sense every OP takes time to charge which give opponent time to counter it.Limbo swap is usefull against focused and fast attacks.

That was pretty much what Sasuke and Naruto said about it in the manga, you can go look for yourself.
Or wait a couple more episodes until appears in the anime.

Well technically that shadow didn't return to madara's body since naruto sealed it.

but since it's all depends on the way you read the scan then I'll just go with what most people think until the anime clears this up.

Thanks to Limbo swap Madara may be immune to any sealing method which not allow shadow to return to Madara after a while.

However Madara still sustain Damages recieved my Limbo because shadows return to him after a while. Anyway Madara as JJ having high level regeneration makes him almost invincible to beat with little field open which is damaging baldy all shadows by very powerfull technique then bust out nuke agaisnt Madara.
