Stood in firelight, sweltering. Bloodstain on chest like map of violent new continent. Felt cleansed. Felt dark planet turn under my feet and knew what cats know that makes them scream like babies in night.

Looked at sky through smoke heavy with human fat and God was not there. The cold, suffocating dark goes on forever and we are alone. Live our lives, lacking anything better to do. Devise reason later. Born from oblivion; bear children, hell-bound as ourselves, go into oblivion. There is nothing else.

Existence is random. Has no pattern save what we imagine after staring at it for too long. No meaning save what we choose to impose. This rudderless world is not shaped by vague metaphysical forces. It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It’s us. Only us. Streets stank of fire. The void breathed hard on my heart, turning its illusions to ice, shattering them. Was reborn then, free to scrawl own design on this morally blank world.

He was reborn, awoken once again. In a pitch dark room he stood, inspecting himself, making sure everything he needed was there. He was that kind of man, he did not care how he was 'alive' but rather how he would keep it that way. The last thing he remembers was lightning piercing through him with authority. It all turned black at that point, he faded into unconsciousness, presumably dead.

But now, he awoke, he was 'alive' or at least to a certain extent, was it his soul that was inspecting itself? Probably. The man confirmed that his attire was present, a simple sword, ninja pouch, and a whip that was all he needed, all he ever needed. Maybe that should change, that is when he figures out what to do next. The man moved gingerly around, the darkness, his previous playground, was no longer as welcoming as before. It enlisted fear into the man, even if it was just an ounce, it was still present.

Where the **** am I!?” he finally asked after growing tired of walking around in the darkness. His voice resonated around the area, it had a eerie echo to it. A small yet spine chilling laugh was heard in the far edges of the room. “Show yourself!

Some RP before we start, you can be the one that was laughing - the keeper of hell, the one I must defeat in order to be reborn, or another defeated soul that wishes to rise once again, or anything else kewl o-o. For the terrain, we like go out from a cave or something creative. We can go in a different approach if you want as well.

Toriann Bio in sig.
The terrain is a cave somewhere in Iwa. The events of this battle happen right after the defeat of Jokey, within the Death to Iwagakure Event time-line.
Chakra is reset though ;)

Toriann breathed in the force. Her attire was not as immaculate as when the invasion began, but she was. Her red skin smooth and glistening, reinvigorated by the gruesome state Iwa is in. She Knew the screams of every person, the cries of every child, the sizzling gurgle of boiling flesh. She Knew it all and she breathed it all.

She was the Grim Reaper, she was death. Her skull mask white yet spotted with dried and fresh blood. Time had ran out for one person, and he stood inside the dark cave. She Knew he was disoriented. Spreading her voice across the cavern, she let out a cold laugh.

Chun-Woo Han of the Gyojin Clan, I know you.

She said. Would the man recognize her voice as the one who brought horror to Iwa?

“A female!? Can it be?” The thoughts surfaced the clouded mind of the young Gyojin. He attempted to retrack his steps. The village was under attack, he went to investigate but was then attacked and defeated. Not physically but mentally. He fell, restricted and immobile, left for dead. But then Hashirama had came and helped him. They carefully moved around until they were discovered by an attacker, the attacker, the snake's head. Chun and Hashirama separated, Chun left seeking to recuperate while leaving Hashirama to deal with the woman. He had wandered into a cave and fell unconscious? Where was the lightning he previously recalled? “Oh screw it all!” Chun finally said to himself, no need to revisit the past.

As does every child with an ounce of knowledge.” He said in direct contradiction to what he had just told himself not to do, revisit the past. Still believing in the hype of his past Chun continued “But I do not know you. However, you seem...familiar, the harder I think about you the more vague the memory becomes.

Rays of the sun bathed in crimson red blood fire touched down upon the cavern, illuminating it in the process. The sensual? No, grotesque nature of the woman before Chun became clear. Pale face or rather mask with fragments of sprayed blood, bruised attire revealing what is beneath; red crimson skin. “Could it be?” He thought once again, the trademark of one infamous individual... “Toriann Lil'ek”

She approaches the opponent, now less than 15 meters between the two. The cavern is dim and dark, the only light shining from behind her, giving her a much more regal and threatening look. Slowly, Toriann runs a hand through the cloak, parting it to reveal her tight-fit black leather attire, her shoulders bare, her skin smooth. Dropping the cloak on the ground, she takes a deep breath, her chest filling with air, the vest squeezing her breasts together.

Did you have friends in Iwa?

She says, continuing on forward, slowly and sensually.

“Have? Could they be -” His mind went blank, his expression grim. The thought of his villagers death stirred something deep inside, something that, for the second time today, surfaced. Fear. Roy, Hashirama, Hazama, and Kirita... Have they fell? Vayne!? Who survived? Who died?

Without realising it he answered her question. “Yes...” Little did he know that he had given her much and more.

Oh... I absolute hate to be the bearer of bad news. Know your friends, please.

She said, with a wicked smile, as she motion her hand towards you, like revealing a plate. In a sudden, 4 figures stand side by side, right in front of you. The first is the baldy Ikkaku Madarame of no Clan. He appeared kneeling before you, tears in his eyes, begging you to spare him, and then suddenly his whole flesh shrunk and whittled, becoming dark as charcoal as iff a massive beam of lightning descended upon him, even though you saw no lightning at all.
The second is Roy Mustang of the Kiyoshi Clan, he looked to you in the eye and whispered "no", before an invisible explosion bursted him towards you, blowing chunks of flesh and splattering blood.
The third one is Dexter Vex of the Nekura Clan, who reached his hand in panic for you to save him, as he sunk into the ground, swallowing invisible dirt and sand until his hand moved no more.
The fourth is the jokey Hashirama of the Senju Clan, whose lip trembled and eyes cried as an invisible blade went through his chest, before splitting up into multiple wounds that tore his whole body apart.

While all of these visions came at once, and so did a multitude of other faceless Iwans, who you might have encountered or crossed paths with. Who might have waved you hello in the street or sold you ale and bread. Who you might have even fancied as she walked past you, and even responded with a wink. You saw a mother bearing her dead baby, in a pool of her husband's blood. You saw countless of men and women burning with invisible fire, only showing their skin reddening and darknening and crackling like pigs. But from among the crowd, one person came towards you.

He is Hazama of the Kiyoshi Clan, pale and distraught. He pulled his hand over a dying woman and approached you, followed by mutilated elders and children. He said to you in a weak and wavering voice: "Please stop this... please... take me instead" as he grabbed your shoulder. And then his eyes were pressed down as blood shot up towards you, his cries horrid and loud. Two holes sunk in impossibly deep, before he fell onto you, hugging you.

Throughout all this, Toriann is still seen where she was, smiling her wicked smile, studying you directly, never moving her eyes. This, of course, is all part of her illusion, as she moved invisible to you, turning into one of the people of the vision. Neither Hazama nor the woman he touched, but just a random old man at your left, a little ways away.

( Genjutsu: Ba-doko-ru Ninnin ) Illusion Technique: Myriad of Mockingbirds
Rank: B
Type: Supplmentary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20 (-5 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This is a very discrete genjutsu, both in it's casting and it's effect. To cast, the user simply needs to do an hand gesture, in the direction of the target. It doesn't change anything about surroundings with the exception of people, and the immediate terrain they're placed. In essence, it allows the user to change how someone perceives someone else, and even create illusionary copies of people the user knows. The illusion is complimented with slight changes to the terrain, like bending foliage, opening doors, etc, but only if manipulated by the illusionary people. It can also remove people from the target's perspective, or remove certain characteristics of someone within sensory range of the target. While inside the genjutsu, the target is free to move and speak, which the user is able to respond through any of the illusionary creations, or him/herself, case the user chooses not to disappear.
It masks slight ambient alteration by "hidden" people, such as footsteps and speech, but not techniques. Likewise, the illusionary people can't perform techniques, only speak and interact through body motions.
*Lasts 4 turns max*
*While using it, the user cannot use any additional Genjutsu on the target and is limited to 2 additional techniques per turn*

Four... The number of directions Chun's focus shifted from. Three... The number of streets the dead came from. Two... The number of pairs. One... The one. His Kage. His friend. His brother. Pale and distraught he came, defeated. With a wavering voice he begged. Not for himself, his pride would not allow that, but for his villagers. His knees weakened and he knelt, falling, hugging onto Chun. The yellow-green eyes disappeared into an endless pit of sorrow, emptiness, and darkness. Chun did not feel warmth from the hug, he felt nothing. Hazama had returned to dust, to his origin.

Black.” He mumbled. He was lost, could this be true he kept asking himself. It made sense. The attack, the screams, and the sense of unease. Was the woman that powerful? Or were his comrades that weak? Was it all an illusion? Or was it the harsh reality? The more he thought about it the more he moved away from answering the questions. An eternity seemed to pass and again it surfaced. Fear. But it was not alone. Anger and rage were present. Making their presence felt. Building up, amassing, fuelling. Something snapped inside Chun as the thought of the innocent deaths surfaces. A threshold was reached.

His eyes rolled back, blank was his expression, for a moment that lingered too long he seemed mentally defeated. But that was the secret. The secret of heaven and earth! The eyes rolled back into position, they lacked focus, they saw nothing but everything. In a tremendous explosion of anger the villagers were taken away, his comrades, his friends, his family, all! Wiped away. The cave crumbled(theatrics) and was pushed away. A small crator had formed beneath him. He came to realise the harsh reality of the situation. He observed the new terrain. In the distance he sees his burning village, he hears his screaming comrades. The crimson red tint of blood in the area only makes him focus more on the woman. The blast should have caught her as well.

Kyu Doragon Jutsu: Kurayami Orijin Shikichi | Nine Arts Dragon: Darkness Origin Threshold
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: S-rank
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: The user applies the basic principles of the Nine Arts Dragon but on an advanced and much more chakra taxing level. Building off the basic usages of Whisper Origin Thrust the user can release bursts of wind at any time from any point on their body with varying usages. The technique can be used to evade physical attacks or to propel themselves at incredible speed in any direction be it forwards, backwards, left, right, or up. Of course, as with the basic technique, the user must use this technique again to change their direction. Unlike the original technique, this version if far stronger and far more deadly when used offensively. To begin with, this technique happens much faster than the previous iteration. The speed at which the bursts of wind carry the user occur in the blink of an eye (a non-enhanced eye). The user can control the amount of wind released and depending on their use will utilize stable wind or incredible bursts of wind that are unstable but very powerful. For example, if the user wishes to evade an attack they can simply use this technique to throw themselves into the air or backwards in the blink of an eye with an incredible burst of wind that is unstable. While unstable the user will be carried off to safety at a far distance. Similarly the user can use the wind bursts in close quarters combat similarly with how they do with other Nine Arts Dragon techniques. This can cause a punch, which is normally traceable with the naked eye, to happen in the blink of an eye. The damage of course is much deadlier and can cause very severe injuries if the opponent doesn't counter it properly. The technique is incredibly versatile and allows the user very powerful methods of evasion, attack, and other uses. Additionally, the user can simply release large bursts of wind from their body at any point. These are unfocused blasts of wind that can carry off debris and other objects as well as simply throw an opponent off balance and carry them away. This however, requires the user stand perfectly still making it dangerous to use in close range. If the user does not stand perfectly still when releasing these huge blasts of unfocused wind they run the risk of being blown back themselves and causing severe damage to their own body. The possible uses for this technique are up to the user’s own imagination and limitations.
Notes:
- Must be a practitioner of Kyu Doragon Jutsu | Nine Arts Dragon
- Can only be used three times per battle.
- Can only be used once every three turns.
- After being used the user may not use Nine Arts Dragon techniques above A-Rank for 2 turns.
