I think it's a freak coincidence. The shooting happened a few hours after the release of the video. Based on the level of organization of the shooting, it seems Holmes had been planning for some time. I think the second story you posted is just trying to sensationalize things.

Umm, I think accepting that some things are coincidental isn't narrow minded. In this case that seems to be the logical assumption. Given that the video was released only a few hours before the movie and that the shooter had a pretty thorough plan that likely took longer than a few hours to conceive, it seems improbable that there's a connection.

This event has little to nothing to do with the government... you're clearly just in a conspiracy sort of mind set.
