Lightning is one of the 5 Basic Elements. One can paralyse the opponent using lightning release.Lightning can be infused with blades/weapons like seen in case of Sasuke Uchiha who infuses his lightning Chakra with the his sword.Lightning is strong to Earth as it can break the earth attacks by travelling through Earth. Lightning can be best used as a combination with Water since water is an electrical conductor. Storm Release is a KG formed of Water Lightning Combination. *Godric listens attentively to Senpai who after his explanation holds out his arm to Godric. Godric then stands in front of Senpai and closes his eyes to focus on his Chakra. Godric mentally pictures lightning,he pictures the flowing current and the lightning sparks. He opens his eyes. Then he tries to focus on chakra in his arms and manipulate it and make it undergo transformation into lightning element. After around half a minute he starts feeling the nature transformation of his chakra into lightning. He focuses even more on it's transformation and says - (Raiton no Jutsu) - Lightning Release Technique and sees small bolts of lightning appearing on his hand and then he touches Ushiro Senpai's arm.*

He increases his focus on gathering chakra in his hand. Once he feels he's gathered enough, he bends forward and slams his hand on the ground releasing a surge of lightning across the ground to Naraka path's feet giving him a shock.*
"Take that big guy and don't give me bad looks again." he says in his mind while watching Naraka path get the shock and get annoyed.

Not bad. Let's see if you're ready for sets of three. This one is pretty simple: Just gather lightning in your hands and release it towards your target as a wave of lightning bolts to shock him. Here's a volunteer.

Sherlock listens to Senpai's fresh instructions. He holds his hands out towards one of the Pein's that Senpai pushed towards him. He concentrates and starts gathering lightning chakra in his hands. When he feels he has gathered enough lightning chakra, he releases it as a wave of lightning bolts towards the unfortunate volunteer who is shocked by the lightning bolts as well as seems a bit annoyed and giving Sherlock an angry look.

He realizes he's manipulating more chakra than in any other previous techniques and feels its going to be more powerful than the previous techs he performed. When he has gathered enough chakra in his hands, he releases a powerful stream of lightning, with a malicious grin, at the Peins slacking off in the jacuzzi. The technique causes them even more damage due to them being in contact with water at the jacuzzi. After their painful ordeal, they get away or rather painfully crawl away from the jacuzzi and start paying attention to Senpai.

While Sherlock is still grinning he sees another Pein who was not in the jacuzzi,angry at Sherlock, for enjoying shocking his friends, and running towards him. Sherlock quickly remembers Senpai's instructions of the electric armour. He focuses on shrouding his body with an electric armour with all his might. He pictures himself inside the armour and focuses his everything into manifesting it. The angry Pein closes on Sherlock and jumps to give Sherlock a kick. Sherlock holds his hands in front of himself in a crossed fashion, to take on the kick's impact, while activating the lightning armour. The Pein is thrown away with a sudden jolt due to the lightning when his foot touches Sherlock's arm.

Here, run up the face of this cliff and perform the Snake handseal, an upside down Tiger handseal, and clap your hands together. Once you've done that release a wave of electricity into the rock above to break off chunks of it, crushing whoever is below you once the rock rains past you. Your target will be following you up the cliff.
*randomly chooses an unlucky Pein to follow you*
(Raiton: Iwa Nadare) - Lightning Style: Stone Avalanche

Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together and running up a cliff face, the user causes stone and rock above him to become dislodged and rain down past him onto his opponents below by releasing a wave of electrical energy. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.
Next, raise your hand in front of you with your fingers strait. Gather lightning in your hand and release it in the form of a large horn made up of several lightning bolts spread out. Fend these guys off.

Now take out a sword and channel raiton chakra throughout the blade to enhance its sharpness. With that done you utilize the chakra within it to levitate the sword before creating two more physical copies of it, also levitating. You should then control the blades to spin quickly and fly towards your target almost like shurikens. Mow these guys down.

While controlling the weapons, the user cannot mold chakra for other techniques and needs to keep focus.

Sherlock starts running towards the cliff. On nearing the cliff, he darts up the face of the cliff, a pein on his tail. He quickly performs the Snake → Upside down Tiger handseals and claps his hands together, manipulating his chakra into electricity. He then sends a wave of electricity into the rocks nearby. The chunks of rock break and start falling down the cliff, some small and some big, many of them falling on the pein on Sherlock's tail. The pein is hit by a big chunk and falls on the ground.
Sherlock having annoyed all the peins by shocking them one by one, finds himself in a pinch when 3 of them march at him with blades coming out of their arms. Sherlock raises his hand in front of him,fingers straight, and builds his lightning chakra. His hand begins to glow pale yellow and he sends out bolts of lightning in shape of a horn, in the direction of the 3 peins, shocking them again, much to their annoyance.
Sherlock draws out his sword and starts to build his Raiton chakra. When he has enough chakra built, he channels the Raiton chakra into his sword's blade, making it sharper. He slowly leaves the sword's hilt and levitate's it in front of himself. He makes two more physical copies of the sword on either side of the original one and manipulates all three of them to spin rapidly. He control's them with his hand's gesture as he sends them flying and spinning rapidly towards the peins in front of him. Sherlock realises that he cannot perform any other technique when this one is on as it takes a good amount of focus to control the three swords in this technique.

Well done. Now generate bolts of lightning around your forearm. Then jump in the air and slam your hand on the ground as you land, releasing the lightning into and the across the ground around you. It should reach up to 5 meters away and shock anyone in the area. Try it out.

Alright. Now raise your hands (or weapon) to the sky and send electricity into the clouds above us. Afterwards make lightning drop from the clouds and strike your target. These lightning strikes are fast but nowhere close to actual ones. Teach these guys how electricity was discovered.

Description: The user will raise his hand or a weapon and send an electrical discharge into the clouds, allowing them to create lightning strikes in the desired location. The discharges are triggered right after the technique and cannot be delayed or prepared before hand but are quite fast.
Next, perform the Ram, Boar, Dog, Bird, and Hare handseals before utilizing lightning chakra to force the earth to rise in the shape of four large pillars surrounding your target. Then discharge multiple lightning currents from these pillars to paralyze and electrocute whoever is trapped inside. Try it on this big guy.

Description: After the user performs the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare hand seals, he releases his lightning chakra into the ground, using it to forcefully shape the earth into 4 big pillars (proportionate to the target area) around the target. Once they rise, they unleash a barrage of lightning bolts, currents and shocks to whatever is inside, paralyzing, shocking and damaging the target from all around.
For this one perform the Rabbit, Dog, Boar, Ram, and Rat handseals before releasing a wave of electricity from your hands. It's best performed after water jutsu to electrify the water and increase it's power. Help me fry this crab.

Sherlock performs the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare hand seals releasing his lightning chakra into the ground and it forcefully shapes the earth around the dog to form four large pillars surrounding the dog. Sherlock raises his hands once again and starts gathering lightning chakra. Once he’s gathered enough chakra, he releases all of the lightning in the form of a Rod at Asura path who is flying haphazardly. The lightning rod is very powerful and the Asura path falls to the ground instantly, twitching and turning in pain, the moment he’s hit by the lightning rod.

He extends the rope some more and it looks like a huge whip. He then lashes the huge blood thirsty crab with it. The crab takes the hit and is shocked by the lightning rope and backs off.

Not bad. For the next jutsu you will have to gather lightning in your dominant hand and release it in the shape of a hound. A cord-like bolt of lightning should be connecting your hand to the hound, allowing you to control it and direct it toward your target. My dog's way better than yours!
