Great! Before we start let me inform you that my teaching style is a bit different. Mainly I will be going through the jutsu list as I see fit for your training. However it will not be in order as you see it. You will not be performing each jutsu, as all you are doing is reading the description of the jutsu and rewording how you would perform it. I want you to have a basic concept and principal of how to use these jutsu and apply them when you have a battle. The goal is for you to understand the concept, so that you have a better understanding how it works. This is a give and take situation where I will require you to ask me any questions that you might have. If you do not ask question then this training will be pointless for you and for myself. So I ask you to ask questions whenever you have a question, it is an important part of my training. This training style is not meant to be fast, there is no point in rushing through the training. If I feel that you do not have the grasp of a certain concept with this training then I will ask you to do same thing over. So do not be discouraged, I want you to be able to understand what is going on, this is almost a mix of elemental training and battle training put together.
Another note! I briefly mentioned that you will not be performing the jutsu itself, which means I will describe them for you, show you whats going on. We will discuss how to use such jutsu within our battle system here on NB. Situations and concept of how you would use it, it is vital that you understand how it works and when to use it, how to defend as well as creating a strategy. Therefore you would become a better rper. This is more or less like a discussion type training, so please pay attention to what I am asking of you. If you do not understand, ask!
Lastly, If you have not noticed yet, I am a moderator on the base. My time is not too limited, though it will be at times. I ask you please do not vm/pm me about replying to training as I have all the training threads subscribed. I will know when you have replied and I will do so when I have the time. Because of my duties in real life, I have set out a training schedule which I think it’s fair to both you and I. I will post my replies mostly on Tuesday through Thursday, while I will use Monday and Friday for me to have what I call “fun day” for myself. I usually do not log in during the weekends. What I am saying is just expect replies on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I might reply on Mondays and Fridays as well but that is not a guarantee. My GMT is -5, this is just to inform you of my online time. Let me know if you agree!

Ninjutsu are techniques which are most of the time followed by the use of hand signs, that allow the user to do things that they are otherwise not able to do. Like the manipulation of nature or healing other people.
As Chakra is the physical energy used by a shinobi to use Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Dojutsu and can be moulded and formed to do uncountable techniques.
Lightning Release, however, is an elemental chakra or nature transformation. When used the shinobi vibrate that chakra at a high frequency to generate lightning. Which can do piercing damage and also cause paralysis. If used on ones self one can make their body move at significantly greater speed than normal and give themselves an advantage in battle.
Lightning is strong against Earth because its vibration can easily travel through rocks and other materials made up of it. But unfortunately it is weak against Wind becuase of Wind being a natural insulator.
The other basic elements that are normally at a shinobi's disposal are Fire, Water, Earth and Wind.

As I read your description for Chakra and Ninjutsu, Something is missing, though I will quote a RP Mod which can explain better than I can. Read it carefully as you need to understand it inorder for you to procede now and in the future. Don't forget it. Here is the qoute.

Aaaah so your saying its hard to increase your chakra levels through spiritual energy, but is possible through phydical energy. And also that chakra,when activated, comes out of the 361 tenketsu in our bodies and also that chakra flow through eight differnet gates that controls the amount of chakra that is put out.
And about ninjutsu, hand signs are a much more needed for the betterment of the jutsu if not mastered. And lastly that Nature Transformation and Shape Manipulaion which is the mechanics and most of ninjutsu. Shape manipulation, giving the jutsu form and nature transformation giving it the properties.

Then there is Black Lightning which is a lightning with color passed down from Raikage to Raikage through the generations presumbly made byt he same means as regular lightning.
Lastning there is natural lightning that is commanded, not generated by chakra fomr the clouds above and can travel 1/1000th faster than sound and is not easily avoided.
