As his sensei grabs his shoulder, Rufus though he was going to hug him or something. Trailing that though, Rufus prepares to push himself to avoid the awkward situation but before he could do something, he finds himself in a different surrounding. Rufus was stunned at what he had witnessed. He had no doubt, his sensei used space time technique to transport them both to the training field. He knew that Tobirama was a famed Space Time Ninjutsu user. Bottling his admiration, he listens to the instructions for the technique to be performed. Once complete, he performs the snake seal followed by the tiger seal in an upside down manner and finally follows up by clapping his hands together. Like before he starts to gather chakra form his reservoir and makes the chakra vibrate at a high frequency. Soon he completely nature transforms the entire gathered chakra into raiton chakra. Once done, he channels the chakra to the ground below him with the aid of his chakra circulatory system. Once done channeling, Rufus directs the chakra up the cliff while molding the chakra into actual lightning, and performs shape manipulation to give it the form of currents racing up the cliff. The currents slice though sections of rocks, making them tumble down.

The advantages of this jutsu are:
✦Lightning's weakness to wind cannot be capitalized here, unless the opponent shoots a wind blast directly at the racing currents. But then again the result would be the same i.e; tumbling down of rocks

The disadvantages of the jutsu are:
✦The user of the technique can also be affected
✦Range of the jutsu is limited to mid-range where is it should actually be long range

I'd probably use this jutsu in conjunction with fire releases, creating a molten shower or maybe even meteorites. I suppose, we can use this technique on the body of the Stone golem technique, using the body of the golem as a base for the jutsu.

"Nice job, and i personally love your combination. Just make sure the technique you use, a fire one i presume, its large and warm enough to melt the rocks into lava before it reaches the enemy, and make sure you're not affected as well! Hah." Toobirama moves forward and performs several hand seals to summon a 5 meter tall, and fairly thick boulder. He jumps down and proceeds to explain the next jutsu to his student. "A very interesting offensive technique. Raise your hands and fingers specifically upwards towards the sky, making it resemble swords or poles. Gathering chakra in your hands while performing nature transformation to change the nature of it to the properties of lightning. If you perform nature transformation normally, your hands should begin to glow a pale yellow. Manipulate the chakra and have it release multiple bolts of lightning, and with the use of shape manipulation, release the lightning bolts outwards, resembling a horn of sorts. Anyways, use it to destroy the boulder, and once you're done, give me advantages, disasdvantages, and how you would use this in battle!"

Rufus after hearing the instructions, gathers the required chakra from his chakra reservoirs. Once the necessary chakra is gathered, Rufus starts to make the chakra vibrate at a great frequency, maintaining the vibrations at a constant frequency. After successfully transforming the nature of the frequency to that of lightning, Rufus directs the raiton chakra to his hands, using his chakra circulatory system. He then, raises his hand before his body and releases the chakra in to the air aroudn him, while molding the chakra to take the form of lightning. Unlike the previous techniques, Rufus makes the lightning vibrate at a different frequency, making the color of the lightning gathered resemble pale yellow. Rufus doesn't forget to perform shape manipulation on the released lightning, shaping it in the form of a horn. And in a quick succession, bolts of lightning emerge from the horn which are guided by Rufus's chakra, scattering across the area. The bolts arcs it's way towards the boulder and finally converge at the boulder's location, shattering it to pieces.

The advantages of the technique are:
✦Range is good
✦Multiple attacks can be targetted
✦No handseals

The disadvantages are:
✦Lacks power like the rest of jutsu's in the rank.
✦Constant control is needed in order to guide the bolts to hit multiple targets

This will prove as a great technique to counter projectile especially the ones that are made of earth. Since less preparation time is needed, it could be used quickly. Frankly, I'd like the jutsu description to be more detailed. It's kinda vague and plain.

"Nicely done, and one of these 'steram-based' techniques are great but the obvious drawback is that you cannot continue on to attack after it is released. Anyways, let's move on. Here, grab a sword." Tobirama tosses a sword to the student, hoping he'd be able to catch it. "Anyways, gather chakra and channel it through the blade while performing nature transformation to change the nature of your chakra into the high-frequencies of lightning through nature transformation. As you know, the lightning element is famed for its abilities to pierce even the hardest substances, so by applying it to lightning chakra, it would greatly enhance the piercing capabilities of the sword. Use your chakra to levitate the single sword, and once it is in front of you, create legitimate and physical copies of the katana, with the same piercing capabilities. Use the chakra to apply a spinning motion to it, making it move and spin while mid-air which would allow you to do a variety of combinations; keep in mind, you move the katana based on hand gestures which should correspond to the direction it is heading, and you cannot perform other techniques while this is active. Perform it to the three training dummies, give me advantages, disadvantages, and how you would use this in battle please!" Tobirama pitches three training dummies in the training ground, waiting for the students' performance.

Description: The user will channel their lightning chakra into their sword to increase its cutting capabilities, and then levitate it in front of them. They will then multiply the sword creating two extra physical copies which are then all manipulated to spin rapidly and are controlled to fly towards and cut through the opponent/s through hand gestures. While controlling the weapons, the user cannot mold chakra for other techniques and needs to keep focus.

Rufus grabs the sword by the hilt and swings it sideways to see how light it is and ti's maneuverability. Hearing the instructions clearly and soundly, Rufus begins to draw forth chakra from his chakra reservoirs. Once the necessary chakra was drawn forth, Rufus starts to make the chakra vibrate at a great frequency giving it properties of lightning in the process. Once the nature transformation is complete, Rufus channels the raiton chakra into the sword, with the help of his chakra circulatory system, coating the sword with a layer of lightning chakra. Once done, he starts to mold the lightnin chakra into the form of lightning, making it vibrate even faster as if it was some sort of lightning saw. Now the cutting prowess of the sword is greatly enhanced, enough to slice clean through B-rank earth techniques. Rufus then tosses the blade forward, using his chakra to levitate the blade in mid-air. Once done, he uses his chaka to create 2 more physical copies of the exact sword, to the left and the right of the original one. For the next step, Rufus extends his index finger and swirls it around in the air, making all the 3 swords spin rapidly. Rufus then swings his right hand to the side making the sword to the right, head towards the dummy in a high arc. At the same time, he swings his left arm side ways, aking the sowrd on the left go in a high arc towards the dummies. Then in qucik succession, he slams both his hands together and thrusts them forward, sending the sword in the middle straight forward piercing the dummy. All three swords slice clean through the dummies.

The advantage of the technique is that:
✦User can maneuver the baldes with the help of his chakra
✦User can pressure an opponent with swords without even even entering short range or doing hand-hand combat
✦Cutting power is enhanced
✦Good to counter wooden pillars

The disadvantages are:
✦Can easily be countered by a wind blast
✦While controlling the sword, the user can't performs other techniques

I would probably use this in defense and to counter mokuton. The lightning blades can easily slice through wood. I think using it wwith shuriken shadow clone jutsu would also work, confusing the enemy. If a clone is in play, this would be very handy.

"A technique that is versatile and its usefulness depends solely on the users' creativity. Gather chakra in your dominant hand and perform nature transformation to change the nature of your chakra into the properties of lightning, its high frequencies as usual. Gather the chakra around your forearm and generate electrical bolts of lightning. Once you've successfully done that, slam your hands on the ground. Manipulate the lightning in your forearm to be discharged through the ground, and around you within 5 meters. The electrical energy would be useful to enemies that try to approach you, or engage in a close combat fight, or enemies that are drenched with water on their lower body. This would effectively shock them, and anyone else within the perimeter therefore, it can affect multiple targets." Tobirama begins to set up training dummies around the student, about 5 with a 1 meter gap around the student, all of which are within short-range. "Alright, perform the technique to shock all of the training dummies. Once you're done, give me advantages, disadvantages, and how you would use this in battle offensively and creatively."

When the necessary chakra is gathered, he starts to make the chakra vibrate at a great frequency thereby making the chakra resemble lightning in terms of properties. After successfully transforming the chakra nature to lightning. Qucik to act, he directs the gathered chakra to his right hand, with the aid of his chakra circulatory system. Rufus then, releases a part of the chakra while molding the chakra to take the form of lightning and using shape manipulation to shape it in the form of small lightning bolts that cover his forearm. With that done, Rufus slams his palm on the ground, releasing the lightning chakra all at once, whilst molding the chakra and creating a surge of lightning bolts spread around him at a radius of 5m, around him.

The advantages of the technique are:

✦Good to counter earth techniques that attack the user from directly below
✦My guess is, it can be incorporated into taijutsu easily and that's a plus
✦Lack of preparation time like handseals etc
✦Suppose it can be used directly on the target instead of the ground? Not sure though

The disadvantages are:
✦Range is too short.
✦Lack of power
✦Can backfire if used on a water surface

I was thinking of using this jutsu with a open palm thrust at my opponent. I'm assuing I can release the lightning throughout his body instead of using it along the ground, well that's my take on the jutsu. I'm not sure though whether it can be done. Mostly, would be benificial in countering jutsu's like hiding like a mole etc..

"Interesting thought process, but, i don't think you can because you need the earth to generate the lightning and create the bolts; that's where the lightning chakra is being channeled through. A human body would not work as well, becuase it's not earth and the technique specifically states the usage of earth. Anyways, before we move onto the B-rank techniques, I think it's time to test your strength... A small battle, to see whether or not you're able to effectively use these past techniques' we've learned efficiently. Ready, or not?"

Okay, i will take into account your current trainings and whatnot. For now, i want you to counter my move, and afterwards, tell me why you used the jutsu against this jutsu.

Tobirama starts the mini-test by channeling wind chakra to two kunai's. Using his chakra, he is able to manipulate the motion of the kunais and have them spin around in a circular manner, similar to a shuriken. Because of its new movement, its able to move like a shuriken. He throws it in such a way that one arcs to the left and towards the student, while the other, to the right. Tobirama awaits the students response to the approaching kunai's.

Rufus readies himself for the test, taking a defensive stance with right hand arched backwards, and close to his his hip while the left hand is arched downwards, vertical to the ground and parallel to his body. Suddenly, Rufus notices his sensei take a hold of 2 kunais, preparing for some sort of attack. Ready to face a direct attack, his eye widens analyzing every detail. As the kunai's start to spin rapidly, Rufus knows playing defense is not going to work well not with his current abilities. Following his instinct, he bolts in an arc towards his left as his sensei releases the spinning kunai's, his eyes are still focused on Tobirama. As Rufus moves from his initial position, he notices that the kunai's were turning to his direction as if though they had been guided towards him. Realizing that his sensei is controlling the kunai's trajectory via chakra, Rufus drops something as he takes his third step. This something(flash bomb), explodes giving off a blinding flash that blinds anybody that witnessed the flash. Since the flash set off behind him, Rufus would be unhindered by the flash. Using this to capitalize, Rufus quickly makes a sharp diagonal turn to his right, after the initial flash, while stringing the hand seals Tiger → Snake → Dog. Being robbed of his sense of vision, Rufus knew that his sensei has no way of knowing about Rufus's whereabouts. Rufus then extends his hand and releases the 4 electric currents towards Tobirama's location. Just after releasing the lightning bolts, Rufus again takes a sharp diagonal turn to his left and continues on his assault. The reason for this is that, the moment he released the lightning, the sound of the electricity gave his location away. To hide that, he had to change his direction in order to keep his sensei guessing about his location. While at the same time, he uses his chakra control to maneuver the bolts of lightning around Tobirama, in a circular manner making it unpredictable to determine from which direction the attack would come. All off a sudden, all the bolts converge towards the single point, one from north,one from south, one from west and the other from east.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Tiger → Snake → Dog the user creates an electric current from their hand that can hit multiple individuals at the same time. Furthermore, it extends into incredible distances and can avoid obstacles.

The reasoning for my move is that:
#1) I lack any B-rank techniques so had to improvise
#2) Didn't use smoke bombs because the wind around the spinning kunai's would serve to blow it away, so flash bombs seemed more effective
#3)Used the Electric Attack because of it's ability to be maneuvered to hit multiple targets or be send in multiple directions. For a blinded foe, it'd be hard to track down the exact location of the attack.

The kunai's magically disappear before hitting you. "Alright, i do believe that you had the right counter... just for the wrong technique. I threw the shurikens as a projectile, therefore it wouldn't really follow you unless i specifically instruct it to, which i did not. However, I apologize, i thought you had C-ranks of water elements. My bad.

Anyways, your counter was extremely creative. The only problem i see is you're movement in the beginning, which may be taken for as freeform dodging; my technique was sent out as a projectile so it wouldn't follow you, therefore it would count as a freeform dodge because of how you moved to the side. But, your plan on making the sounds from the lightning, as well as covering your position from the flash bomb was extremely smart.



Continuing to test his students' ability, Tobirama begins to walk towards the student, entering short-range. While walking, he releases earth chakra everywhere within mid-range to create small tremors that knock you off balance and causes you to fall to the ground. Once there, he manipulates the earth, two or so meters in front of the student to rise up and take the form of a hammer. With simple hand movements, Tobirama manipulates the hammer to rise up and hammer directly where the student was.

Rufus rubs the back of his head with his left hand,"Umm..sensei! I do have C-rank water release but I wanted to do something with only lightning as that's what I was meant to showcase. And about the free form movements, I will keep that in mind for future references.

As Tobirama enters short range of Rufus, he feels the need to keep his guard up expecting a surprise attack on the way. AS Rufus calmly analyzes the situation, he notices that the earth under him starting to vibrate a bit. As seconds go by, the vibrations under him gets louder and stronger, making him struggle to keep balance and stand on his two legs. Soon the vibrations begin to get stronger, making Rufus drop to one of his knees, to keep him from falling on his ass. He doesn't forget to channel chakra to his feet and knees to keep him up. At the same time as he drops to a single knee, his forearm stats to glow with electricity circulating through it. He then proceeds to slam his right palm on the ground, releasing the gathered lightning chakra all at once, releasing bolts of lightning which spreads evenly across the ground, under and around him in a 5m mark radius. The lightning courses through the earth, neutralizing any doton chakra that was sent to manipulate it. Since Tobirama was in short range of Rufus, he will get zapped if he doesn't counter it properly.

Anyways, you're counter WOULD be good but it seems you've metagamed. It's alright, for you, because you're relatively new and you don't have as much experience in battle. Anyways, metagaming is countering something because YOU know its there, not your character. For example, what you did, you sent a surge of lightning chakra to neutralize the earth chakra for the hammer, but how would you know it's there? More specifically, how would your character know its there? Just make sure you're battling through your characters' eyes.

Anyways, i like your usage of that technique, as a form of defense and offensive, though it would have been better if you stated a reason as to how you knew earth chakra was present for making the hammer. xD (Which traditionally, is only possibly through chakra sensory and/or abilities like that, like Dojutsu.) Anyways, i'll continue on. This is your last move.

Seeing the surge of lightning chakra heading his way, Tobirama without hesitation creates a pillar of water to thrust him mid-air before the lightning could reach him, or the body of water to electrocute him. He easily evades the surge of lightning, and upon doing so, Tobirama performs a single hand seal to manipulate the earth around his student to rise up. They are shaped into two segments, and once they've fully formed, they join together in an attempt to crush the student.
