WE'RE all familiar with the allure of coffee, but one man has taken it a step further, turning your daily coffee into art.
Based in New York, Mike Breach has turned his barista job into a lesson in creativity, transforming cups of coffee into celebrity portraits and pretty pictures.
Using a toothpick, Breach quickly manipulates the foam and crema into faces and shapes before they melt or are sipped away.
"When I pull a shot and I put it into a cup and I see the different colours pooling around, that's like my palette and I can actually see it happening," he told tumblr's Storyboard.
"I want to be like Willy Wonka with coffee... I want to make it something interesting and fun for people and take the pretentiousness out of it."
