Just saw it for the first time a few days ago. It's definetly a different movie, but by different I don't mean boring. It was visually quite stunning and I found the story line to be unique and surprisingly entrailing despite its simplicity. It even has an interesting twist that still has me hanging.

Well worth a watch, I know I would see it again.

Visually, no movie compares to it. The movie had me completely mesmerized. It just looked wonderful, and the usage of 3D was the best I've seen since Avatar and Tron Legacy, probably even better. All the colors are so bright and luscious.

I loved the movie itself as well.

It's about Pi who is telling a story to a writer who has a writing block. Pi tells him that he will tell him a story that will make him believe in God. This is done in good taste though, it doesn't offend other religions in my opinion, because Pi is very open to interpretation himself. And if you're not religious, it's not like you will hate it. I loved the movie, that's all I'll say :)
