Leaving aside the annoying pests who are going "I'm so glad he's dead, no more flashback lolololol!" at the current chapter without giving second thoughts of what just happened.
Once thinking hard of what has happened in today's manga chapter by looking back at the very beginning of the series and early Part 2, we need to realize that Naruto(the series in itself) just lost it's most integral character in the entire franchise, the one who shaped Kakashi, Naruto and so many other shinobi to become who they currently are through either bad or good deeds, the one who led Akatsuki during it's villainous and final days, the one who played the role of the beloved "Tobi", and in an ironic sense the one who played the role from the very beginning to now as the main antagonist in the shadows.
Decided to offer a video link that would describe the realization at hand of what occurred in this chapter, of how much Obito was in the series and the degree of closure that has been brought with his death.

This isn't just a death of a villainous character, this is a death of what may be a the influential part of Naruto who played the biggest role of them all.
