Chapter 9
The next day
Onoki was in his office he was finishing off the last lot of paper work and writing down what he had to tell Kurotsuchi after the announcement at the induction ceremony; which he was looking forward to so he could retire. A few mins later Onoki had finished the paper work and decides that it is almost time to head off, to the Induction ceremony and leaves the Tsuchikage mansion.
Onoki then arrives at the ceremony
Alot of people that had gathered for the induction of the new Tsuchikage, Onoki then spotted Akatsuchi.
Onoki: hey Akatsuchi is everything ready
Akatsuchi: Tsuchikage Sama yes everything is ready for you to make your announcement.
Onoki: where is Kurotsuchi?
Akatsuchi: with the elders I think
Onoki: well I will make the announcement in a few minutes.
A few minutes had passed and Onoki decided it was time to begin the induction ceremony.
Onoki: we are all here today because we won the war thanks to the allied Shinobi forces. We have now attained peace I think I can retire with peace of mind; after much discussion the Elders and I have chosen a new Tsuchikage.
Onoki then took a deep breath and called out the name of the Fourth Tsuchikage.
Onoki: the new Tsuchikage is KUROTSUCHI
Kurotsuchi then appeared in front of her grandfather once he had stepped back, she wearing the Tsuchikage hat as well as the long white coat; that was worn at one stage by all the previous Tsuchikage’s.
Kurotsuchi: thank you grandfather I will happily accept all that time I was at your side I have learnt alot. You where my grandfather and my teacher I also thank my father; I only hope I can take that knowledge and put it to good use.
After the ceremony Onoki & Kurotsuchi headed to the Tsuchikage mansion
Onoki: I have a few things I have to tell you before I can officially relax Kurotsuchi.
Kurotsuchi: well I guess we should talk in the Tsuchikage office.
Only a few minutes had passed and they had arrived at the office.
Onoki: I have made a list of things you have to know like the Chuunin
exams are coming up soon, it will need to be organised since it is held in Konoha we only have to talk the Jounin to see who they think is ready oh and one more thing; you should read the letter that was sent from the mist Village soon now that’s all I had to say now I shall leave you so you can get settled Tsuchikage Sama.
Kurotsuchi: grandfather you don’t have to call me that I will probably need your advice from time to time.
Onoki: okay well I will see you later just give me a yell if you need help with anything.
Onoki then left the Tsuchikage office.
Scene Skip
Back in Konoha Yamato, Kakashi and the others all arrive back to the village after their long mission.
Yamato: we should take these storm Ninja to Inoichi then we should report to the Hokage.
Kakashi: Yamato & I will go see Inoichi and we should also go see Ibiki as well, Neji & Sakura you and the others go report to the Hokage.
Neji & Sakura: (in Unison) Understood
Sakura: let’s go everyone
Sakura & the others started to head straight to the Hokage mansion.
Hinata: hey Sakura how did the mission go
Sakura: it went well we are going to report to the Hokage.
Hinata: I was heading there as well
Scene skip
Kakashi and Yamato had finally found both Ibiki and Inoichi.
Ibiki: what brings you here Kakashi & Yamato I guess you have something you want to ask me and Inoichi here.
Kakashi: yes can you find as much as you can from these ninja and I will come back in a few days to see what you have found out, me and Yamato better go see the Hokage now.
Inoichi: okay Ibiki & I will see what we can do.
Kakashi and Yamato then left Ibiki and Inoichi to get to work and they then headed towards the Hokage Mansion so they could make their report.
Meanwhile Sakura and the others had just arrived at the Hokage office and Hinata then knocked on the door.
Naruto: Enter
Hinata: Sakura and the others are back from their Mission it seems it went well
Naruto: that is good to hear
Sakura: Hokage Sama this is Akira
Naruto: yes the Raikage had informed me that he was going to be returning with you thank you Omoi & Karui for helping to escort him here I want all of you to go rest, Neji just for now take Akira to the cells and have him heavily guarded. Sakura, Hinata & Sai please stay the rest of you are dismissed; Oh Omoi & Karui before you leave come see me tomorrow morning.
Karui & Darui: (in unison) yes Hokage sama
Everyone then left the office just as Kakashi and Yamato walked in.
Yamato: Hokage sama, we are here to make our report on our way we were attacked by the Hidden Storm Village Shinobi they gave us a tough time apart from that the mission was a success; it was also thanks to Kakashi here who knows what would of happened if he had not shown up.
Kakashi: I was just in the right place at the right time.
Naruto: where are these Hidden Storm Ninja Now?
Kakashi: they are with Inoichi & Ibiki.
Naruto: I see thank you for your report and I am happy that the mission was a success now you both may go rest and let me know when we know
more about these storm ninja.
Kakashi & Yamato then left the office and Shikamaru entered
Shikamaru: Hokage sama you wanted to see me
Naruto: yes Shikamaru
Sakura: what did you need to discuss with us all Hokage Sama?
Naruto: I know the last couple of weeks have been busy I have got a list of all the Ninja I wish to see tomorrow on the roof of the Hokage mansion;
tomorrow morning after I have talked to Omoi & Karui can you all make sure they get told by one of you.
Naruto then hands Sakura, Hinata, Sai & Shikamaru the list of names make sure they are all there by 10am sharp.
Sakura , Sai & Shikamaru: (in unison) yes Hokage sama
Sakura, Sai & Shikamaru then left the room and Hinata stayed to talk to Naruto.
Hinata: are you almost done with today’s work Naruto
Naruto: yes Hinata, how about after this we go out to Ichiraku’s.
Hinata: okay I will go get the kids
Naruto: it should just be you and me tonight it has been so busy lately.
Hinata: okay, I will go make something for the kids while you finish up here
I will also put Jiraiya to bed and I will leave Minato & Kushina in charge; and
I will meet you out the front of the mansion in an hour.
Naruto: okay Hinata I see you in an hour.
The hour had passed fairly quickly and Naruto was waiting in front of the mansion.
Hinata: the kids are all settled for the night lets go to Ichiraku.
Naruto: yeah let’s go
A few mins or so later Naruto & Hinata arrived at Ichiraku.
Naruto: Hello Teuchi
Teuchi: Hokage sama it has been awhile and hello Lady Hinata I heard the good news today your father was hear he told me.
Hinata: That was supposed to be a secret till I told Naruto what do I do with my farther.
Naruto: what is he talking about Hinata?
Hinata: well I went to see my Father today since there was a Hyuuga Clan meeting he has decided to make me the Head of the family.
Naruto: Congratulations Hinata it was about time he acknowledged you, Let’s celebrate I will have the usual what about you Hinata.
Hinata: thank you Naruto & I will have my usual as well
Teuchi: two bowls of Ramen on the house coming up.
Naruto: thank you Teuchi
Teuchi: it is a celebration after all.
Hinata: thank you Teuchi
A few mins later Teuchi had served Naruto & Hinata there ramen Naruto had seconds after that they both thanked Teuchi and they both headed home.
