And men can rape men too. In fact you might want to check the percentage of male on male rape victims among male rape victims. And these cases are often the ones which get the least reported and least medical and psychological help. One day you might be thankful that such laws exist that make consent necessary and not be thinking that you or your dear one scored either way.
