The tailed beast. They have been used and abused by the system over and over, and now deemed the common denominator of what's wrong with the system.

As of right know Sasuke is coming off contradictory, he wants to cut down the beast so they won't be around to be used (really he wants to cut them down because their power can rival his) So what does he do? Absorb their power to cut down Naruto.

Even going by his logic of cutting the beast down so they can't be used, isn't that a bit backwards? That's like saying kill a attractive woman so she can't be raped. Piece by piece we are seeing Sasuke's true intentions, and it's not just being a symbol of darkness, it's being a all ruling merciless dictator in a World just for him.

He wants to establish peace and punish people who are disturbing his version of peace. Though some sacrifices (5kages, naruto and Bijuus) have to be made before he can establish his world order. It is not as if he wants to kill just for fun.
Though he contradicts himself in a way, because he wabts to kill the bijuus, because people will abuse their power, but know he is using them himself. that's where the contraditction is. (though he lost it anyway, so it is okay if he contradicts hinself).
Now to the attractive woman comparision: i do not think that this is a good comparision, because bijuus can pontentially destroy the world

Every tyrant thought the same.

He is willing to kill his best friend, and the only close connection (besides his family) to achieve his version of peace. If you think down the line a person like that would have any mercy towards a lesser of a best friend he is trying to kill, you're crazy.

And yes, it's a perfect comparison. The TB have been victims of rape because of their beauty (power), cutting them down still won't remove the animalistic nature of humans, just as removing guns from the World won't stop violence, as the manga dictated, humans were at War before the TB.

I totally agree with you. Sasuke does'nt realize he is corrupted and it will only get worse if he gets his way. We've seen it before when he almost killed sakura and stabbed karin. He becomes a monster when he's power crazed on steroids
