This has already been discussed before, and yet you are still not getting it. Obito is still Obito, and what Obito has done to Naruto's life should not be overlooked on his past dream of becoming Hokage. He wants to think of Obito's dream as "nothing but awesome" while ignoring the very fact that this same guy caused his whole life nothing but hell and was responsible for many of the negative events in his life. That makes him a naive little fool and nothing else.

Whether he was talking about the "past Obito" or not doesn't matter because the future overrides the past, and Obito has clearly done many wrongs from that point, and yet Naruto is trying to praise Obito all because they share a certain same dream.
