Open fight. I'll be using my beloved Inchato Yuki bio. There's a good chance that I'll be going all out to test some shit out. But maybe not. Post your bio, and I'll write up a scenario with the first move included.
Come at me dear :Olol, your pick pal.
Edit: I changed my mind. Jack Frost. I'll show you what real ice is.![]()
As agreed between himself and a fellow clan brethren, Jack made his way to a random area as to meet up with his senior, Inchato Yuki. Upon arriving in the snow covered area, Jack notices Inchato standing at about 10 meters away from himself with his back turned towards Jack. Jack never said anything nor moved any further before then noticing Inch turn around, face him and say..."I have a different sort of thing that I'd like to show you today." Inchato then raising his arms and gestured at the snowy landscape around them. "Too long has the power of ice been forgotten. Come, let me show you. Once you see it, perhaps you can help me remind others of it... Prepare yourself, Jackson Frost." After hearing these words being spoken by Inchato, the mischievous Jack Frost simply raised his right eyebrow and replied..."There is no power of ice, my friend, there is only Winter, the power of winter itself is feared even more than any form of Ice, and I alone am the true definition of Winter, but spoken works hold no meaning, today we shall prove to each other who holds the throne to Winter!"It was the meeting place that one might expect for two members of the Yuki clan. Several inches of snow covered the ground of the valley that they had chosen to meet in, and while it was cold as one might expect, the sunlight kept the valley just around a freezing temperature, and the Yuki were more than comfortable with that. That day, there were only two of them. You must be registered for see images
The older of the two, Inchato Yuki, dressed in standard ninja attire in addition to a winter cloak, stood for a moment with his back turned to his younger clansmate. In the past, Inchato had always been one of many strong members of the Yuki clan. But during his months spent in solitude at Nest, it seemed their numbers had dwindled. While it was true that there was no blood in the clan, Inchato felt.. dissatisfied with their current aptitude with the clan's arts. While he had already begun to help their power grow, he had the feeling that they were as of yet unaware of the true fury of winter. And now was the perfect opportunity to show it to one of them.
Inchato turned, and finally observed his younger clansmate, who was no doubt curious as to why he was here. They stood at a mid range from one another. "I have a different sort of thing that I'd like to show you today." Inchato raised his arms and gestured at the snowy landscape around them. "Too long has the power of ice been forgotten. Come, let me show you. Once you see it, perhaps you can help me remind others of it... Prepare yourself, Jackson Frost."
With that, Inchato slammed his hands through the snow and pressed them into the snow covered ground. In a moment, the world around them changed. Enormous pine trees made purely of ice erupted from the ground as far as the eye could see. Glittering in the sunlight, they turned the frozen wasteland that the two Yuki had been standing in into a beautiful sea of ice. There is a space between four to six meters between each pine tree. Even the air itself was affected by the jutsu. Where it was once freezing temperatures, the coldness of the trees brought it down to dangerous levels. Inchato, having conditioned his body to deal with the temperatures created by this jutsu, would survive with minimum damage; Jack Frost would not be so lucky. The strip of land between Inchato and Jack, however, does not have any pine trees in it, though both sides are lined with them. There is a pine tree behind Inchato Yuki by about 5 meters.
Unfortunately for Jack, however, he was never given a chance to admire the beauty of the technique properly, for a pine tree had erupted below his feet at the same moment the others had emerged. If left unprotected, the razor sharp pine needles of the tree would skewer him completely. As the pine trees rose, Inchato stood back up properly, and it began to snow as he carefully observed Jack.
(Hyoton: Skadi No Reitō No Mori)-Ice Release: Frozen Forest of Skadi
Type: Offensive
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Long
Chakra Cost: 50
Damage Points: 90 (30 damage is dealt per turn, thus it adds up to 90 by the time the technique ends. The user receives 8 damage per turn, adding up to 24 damage when the technique ends.)
Description: The user gathers a severe amount of Hyoton Chakra and slams their hands on the grounds, releasing the gathered chakra in a surge and causing a giant forest of pine trees made of pure ice emerge from the ground around the user. The forest was said to have been created by the Nordic goddess of Winter, Skadi. As such, the ice is very hard and extremely cold. Because of the extreme cold of the trees, the air around them also becomes extremely cold. This causes damage to the bodies of those within the forest. Although the user is used to the cold temperatures of ice, they will still receive damage from the extreme cold. The needles of the pine trees are razor sharp and are capable cutting anyone who would fall on them. On average, the pine trees are 30 meters tall.
Note: Can only be used once per battle.
Note: All ice jutsu gain +10 damage. (This includes ice jutsu that others use.)
Note: All fire jutsu receive a -5 damage reduction. (This includes fire that I use.)
Note: Due to the amount of chakra this technique consumes, only one additional jutsu may be used the turn this jutsu was used.
Note: Due to the amount of chakra this technique consumes, only two jutsu may be performed the following turn.
Note: After three full turns of the forest being out, it will shrink back into the ground, taking the cold temperature with it.
Note: After this technique ends, the user is unable to perform ice jutsu of A-Rank and higher and the user is unable to perform S-Rank and higher wind and water techniques for the rest of the match.
Note: The pine trees have around 4-6 meters between each other. (This is the measurement from how close one tree's branch is to another's. Thus, it is easy to maneuver around the forest.)
Note: This jutsu can only be used by Inchato.
(Hyouton no Jutsu) Ice Release Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage: 30
Description: The user can use this jutsu to make it begin to snow down on the terrain, or, much like the “Earth Style Technique” the user can make small pillars or shields of pre-existing ice or make it materialize (if from Haku's Clan). If this is used to make snow, then after 3 to 4 turns most of the terrain will be covered.
Note: Even though your a Yuki, I'm pretty sure you'll take the full damage from the cold air. Your bio doesn't have anything about reduced cold damage, nor do you get the benefits of having performed this yourself.
As Jack is being raised into the air, he feels the air above his head pushing more so than it did a second ago, and he would also hear the sound of ice being formed above him, being it that Jack is all to familiar with the sound Ice makes once it forms and Inchato performing a single hand seal while he was being raised into the air, Jack immediately knew something was up, he then lowers his entire body as to crouch upon the disk of ice while simultaneously placing his right hand upon his chest and releasing a pulse of earth chakra coursing through his body, this would cause a drastic change in Jack's body, along with his reflexes and also slightly increase his speed for a moment. Jack then jumps forward with great speed evading the ice blades that has formed above him, as his feet leave the ice disk, he manipulates it to slightly tilt as it also raises close to the ice blades, the ice disk would then deflect a ray of sunshine from the sun that would meet the ice blades and melt it while also direct the ray into the eyes of Inchato, automatically forcing him to close his eyes or be blinded for a brief moment. At that point Jack would be arcing through the air towards Inchato's position, while in mid air he performs 2 quick hand seals and claps his hands together, as they separate a cylinder of ice being half a meter in diameter to form between his hands, Jack then releases a pulse of his ice chakra through the cylinder and releases a large sum of sharp shards of black ice, upon blasting out of the cylinder the black ice forms into a large wall of black ice shards coupled close to each other and would cover a range similar to that of the Great fire majestic annihilation technique. "Witness the true power of winter, darkened by my true nature."Inchato scoffs at Jack Frost's words. "You claim that winter is the best thing ever, and then you immediately make fire?" His lip curls as he sneers at his clansmate."Shouldn't you embrace the cold?"
As Jack hops onto the disc and it begins travelling upward, Inchato, seeing that his strategy was working perfectly, immediately weaves a single hand seal, rather than using his chakra to make it snow. The moment that he does so, the air a short distance above Jack's head rushes downward and razor sharp blades of ice form within it, and are immediately pushed down by the wind. Because Jack is already travelling upward, the blades would be on him within a moment, slicing into his skull and shoulders. Jack would not hear this coming due to the air already rushing around his ears at a great speed. Because of the timing, Jack would have just released the fireball as the blades of ice connect with him, should he choose to continue with that action.
Should Jack continue with this action, Inchato will merely weave a handseal and then almost instantaneously exhale a barricade of water, meeting the fire as it approaches him, stopping its progress and then continuing on uselessly to hit the ice tree. Should Jack not continue with his technique, then Inchato will merely observe him closely, looking for an opening.
(Hyoton: Gokkan No Kaze)-Ice Release: Frigid Wind
Type: Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user makes two hand seals and manipulates the air above an opponent to move down upon them at a high speed. As the air moves down, several small, thin blades of razor sharp ice are created, which will cut into the opponent as the wind hits them, slicing into their body and causing external and internal damage.
Note: This does not necessarily have to be created over an opponent's head.
Note: Can only be used thrice per battle.
( Suiton: Suijinchū ) - Water Release: Water Encampment Pillar
Rank: S
Type: Defence
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: N/A
Description: A defensive technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into water, and then expelled from the mouth in a dense torrent, effectively creating a near instantaneous barricade that can be used to intercept incoming attacks.
By the time I felt the wind pushing down on me and should be carving into my head, I lowered my entire body to a crouching position, obviously after noticing the blades form I stopped moving upwards with the disk and lowered my body, this would allow me enough time to perform the ultra lightweight rock technique and jump at a slightly increased speed than normal before the blades would manage to actually harm me(Also note that I performed the lightweight as I crouched, the jutsu in all happens rather quick as well), I could have done the crouch and jump with freeform but as the rules state, you need a jutsu to counter a jutsu, this being that case, the decrease in my weight allowing me to move a bit faster is just an added bonus. I don't really wanna be arguing about such a minor matter since either of us could be wrong, so either you can take the win or you could proceed with your move, the choice is yours.I don't think that this would work. o-o You wouldn't have the time to do all that. By the time you felt the wind pushing down on you, the blades would be carving into you within an instant. Remember that, not only were the blades moving down to you, you were moving up at them.
Also, even if you did have time, I don't think this sort of counter is allowed, but I could be wrong. o_o Sure, you activated the jutsu that would make you faster, but then you just jumped off the ice disc. It's not really any different that saying that you jumped off the ice disc without the jutsu. While some speed jutsu do allow you to dodge jutsu in this manner, I don't think that does. Added speed isn't the purpose of the technique, it's a side effect. But again, I might be wrong on that.
All that said, I'm game to continue on anyway, if you'd like.
