I really think he lost it, but unless he faces an enemy which logic says he should use RSM, then we cannot be sure. For the gaiden, Sasuke is also present, so while the new villian might be as strong as each of them , there is no way he/she is stronger than both of them combined.

So if sasuke and naruto team up, we still cannot be sure if he lost it, as full power will not be needed.

The only true confirmation of him losing it if he didn't use it in a situation where he really needed it but didn't use it. If such situation never appears within the movie or manga, there is nothing to suggest he lost it.

That fiasco was explained many times before, the movie was in the making before they knew that much about Naruto and Sasuke's power-ups. Thats why Sasuke only has a few minutes of screen time and why none of Naruto's new abilities are shown. It still wouldnt make sense, Sasuke would have lost his too if Naruto lost his. So Sasuke still having his rinnegan is a sign.

I'm pretty sure I was the first to say this and finally glad I have a few supporters lol..

I will go record and say tape reason why I believe this because I think Sasuke and naruto lost Hagoromo's chakra.. Like all borrowed chakra isn't permanent. Sasuke is only able to keep his rinnengan because it's a power that was awaken by Hagoromo's chakra but do need the chakra to keep it.. Therefore Naruto is the one suffering the biggest lost.
