Morrie's Monstrous Pit Morrie's Monster Arena as the battlefield (inside, dirt pit surrounded by four wooden gates, about twelve feet up is the seating for the arena. Each of the wooden doors leads to a waiting chamber with a small water basin that's used for drinking water, although somewhat dirtied by the lack of sanitation standards. There is one set of stairs that lead to a small bar that then lead to another wooden door, serving as the entrance to the monster arena. Outside lies a nondescript forest with a cliff leading to the coastline about long-range to the back of the entrance.)
Mid-range at start
*Agnes has lately heard of numerous notices for applicants to apply to several of the large villages throughout the shinobi world. She was journeying towards one, but had the unfortunate aptitude of realizing that hadn't ate a decent meal in sometime, at least since she burnt down the rotten freezer... and her entire cabin as well. Thus, even if she decided against going to her new home on a whim, she... kind of didn't have it anymore. Lesson learnt, do not use B-rank Katon jutsus in a dried bush... she sighed, but then notices a large, oval domed building ahead, with a rather large sign on the left side of the door:*
Welcome to the Monster Arena, home of champions and heroes alike! Today, and only today, there shall a set number of matches in which any and all fighters may fight for a prize of 1000 kumi, with the normal entry fee waived. That's right, any fighter with the extreme passion and the glorious gusto may fight for the glory and the honor of being a victor of Morrie's Monster Arena!
Notice: Morrie's Monstrous Pit ltd isn't responsible for any maiming, injury, genjutsu-caused madness, tears, rage quitting, cheating, utilizing jutsus one did not learn, over-calling senseis to the point of annoying everyone and pleasing no one, killing, cannon-contradictions, or overly long expatiations. Any extreme damage done to the facility will be paid for by both of the contestants in terms of which contestant did what damage. Terms and conditions do apply... I think.
*Agnes blushed briefly before coughing, as a geist to regain her composure. What kind of a mad-house was this? She about to find out, as that 1,000 kumi prize seemed as a too good of a prize to pass up...*
{One hour later}
*Agnes now waits in the center of the arena, twiddling her thumbs together as she waited for her opponent. It was surprisingly easy to enter this arena, as all she had to do was sign a piece of paper, and then she was sent to the arena immediately, as they said that she was the first contestant of the day. The arena itself reeked of sweat, was incredibly moist and humid, causing sweat to drip from her forehead, and the rancour of the boisterous crowd could drive even everyone's favorite knucklehead ninja to madness. She began to wonder what she gotten herself into this time...*
