If it didn't knock sakura out why would it knock hinata out?:|

You realize that the rock would have lost some of the kinetic energy it initially had after bouncing off sakura right? If so, then it wouldn't have enough force to knock out hinata if even with greater momentum it didn't knock out sakura.

Sakura's regeneration does not make her impervious to damage it just allows her to recover quickly.
