I dont underestimate him i just state sasuke surpassed him long ago.
Sasuke is not like Obito or Bee. i think he knows when he is marked and is able to counter with susano

well, there's no proof to back that up. Mind you imo with EMS Sasuke will probably turn out to be stronger than Minato, but Minato's full strength is yet to be shown also. with mastery of the mangekyou and enton Sasuke surpassed Itachi, but as we saw he was still given trouble against the kage and bee, and minato took two of those at once and one of them was sure minato would never be surpassed. anyhow we'll see more of both soon, so let's wait and see how things pan out. kishi's the one who'll decide just how strong both are in the end.

Your making the assumption that Sasuke would know if he was marked. Personally if he gets marked he loses otherwise he wins. I am making this assumption off the fact that ever time we see Minato mark some one they don't realize it until he hits them or kills them.

since when does ftg require 5 seals? you're talking about the space-time barriers. a case can be made to say sasuke can beat minato, but certainly not with the arguments you presented. minato CAN teleport away from the susanoo arrow, and easily. and if sasuke engages in taijutsu he will get marked and that's a huge problem for him, he can't maintain susanoo forever.

and obito was far from 'weak' in that fight, he had the kyuubi on his side in case you hadnt noticed, his mastery of kamui was already great and he was at a level to defeat dozens of bloody mist ninja with little effort.

the key for sasuke to beat minato is enton, and even then it's not a given that he'll win even if he has full knowledge. you underestimate minato badly

why can't he maintain it forever (or for at least a very considerable length of time) that would be my assumption being that his eyes are now call the eternal mangekeyo sharingan. I believe you're the one underestimating sasuke being that he has the best defense in Narutoverse, Susano can be his defense and offense at same time if he has this out there isn't way for him to mark Sasuke that puts Minato at an extreme disadvantage not to mention sasuke has genjustu at his disposal also ijs

what i find funny is that many think naruto can beat minato minato has the speed and skill to disable naruto connection with kurama since he knows the Seal functions once he does that its a walk in the park for him

The rasengan was used to mark Obito so he could disconnect Obito from Kurama and when did he fire a second one off. Again Danzo repeatedly looked into his eyes.

you have no idea what Minato is fully capable of. We have only seen him fighting in a couple restricted situations, with relatively short bouts.

Also, when he fought Obito, he was trying to protect his son, his wife, and his entire village at the same time so it's safe to say he was a little distracted and trying to end things quickly. All this speculation isn't proving anything definitively.

Edit: Also, if Minato had trouble with Obito's Kamui, that doesn't mean he'd have trouble with Sasuke's MS techs

I agree. I don't think Naruto has a sure victory against Minato just yet though in terms of brute strength/power, Naruto beats Minato by far UNLESS Minato can make some kind of Rasengan that's as big as TBB. I mean, we'll never know right? The Rasengan was supposed to be modeled after a Bijuu's TBB.

At this point let me put it this way if Sasuke uses the genjutsu and is successful he would win long range he would most likely win short range and unsuccessful or unable to use genjutsu he loses to minato.

well, you're assuming that sasuke goes into susanoo from the beginning and that's fine. the problem with that is that you're assuming full knowledge about ftg, sasuke didn't even stay in susanoo for all the fight vs kabuto and he was stronger than both sasuke and itachi combined. the problem is that even obito and kakashi don't know exactly how ftg works. heck i doubt the full technique's been divulged yet. if someone has a good secret he can beat more powerful opponents. look at pain and obito, half the battle is figuring them out and by then you're most likely dead
