But there was never a doubt that he'd able to control the Juubi if he became it's jinchuriki U_U

I like how both became the jinchuriki of the juubi, but they look completely different, I think that sage mode helped stabilize the jinchuriki form for Madara. He looks more naturally adept to the power, it refines it i think.

Thanks to sage mode, he is able to harness the Juubi's power, that was the whole purpose of getting sage mode so that he wouldnt have to struggle to control the Juubi, who is natural energy. Obito did it without the help of sage mode. Obito is still beast.

It's a bit foolish to say he's "Handling it like a boss" at this point in time.

Though his 'transformation' does appear to be far more stable and 'clean.' Though that could all go to shit in a heartbeat. There are a lot of things that we just don't know, or that Kishimoto will just make up.
