petra is a bottomless hole when absorbing chakra, only draw back is if the user can't handle to chakra being absorb like pain and senjutsu, but both madara and sasuke have no trouble handling senjutsu.

and also the user can become vulnerable while absorbing an attack depending on the size of the ninjutsu it could take a few seconds but rinnegan masters can use multiple paths at once like nagato showed so they would never be vulnerable in the first place.

That's one of the things that are a little frustrating at times. Naruto abilities have ridiculous hype at their initial reveal. Just look at any Yata Mirror thread lol. I personally always take those little excerpts before a manga chapter with a grain of salt.

In fact, I think Itachi's quote "Every jutsu has a weakness" was a tease at this. Maybe in the final fight the CT, Genjutsu, and Bijuu Chakra Absorption was too much for Sasuke to use anymore abilities while fighting. Could be a few things.

For all rights and purposes, all ninjutsu (including indra's arrow) shouldn't have affected him at all in the vs battle with Sasuke. Naruto could coat himself in TBS, and be virtually invulnerable to everything. Funny how his use of them was 'nerfed' huh? Plus, it's been demonstrated preta can be countered with taijutsu, frog kumate?.. Pretty sure preta isn't useful againts senjutsu attacks either. All in all, you could say plot (which is stupid to bring up) restricted Naruto a lot too.

if the attacks are clashing there isnt anything to absorb all the damage was recoil a huge shockwave. Plus try and find a panel of somebody creating ninjutsu while using preta cause there isnt one

Nagato used human path on naruto to pull out his life force. While pulling, naruto attacked with rasengan and he used preta to absorb it. After that, bee attacked and while still using human path he (Nagato) used asura path to create a new arm and grab bee.

yeah a rasenshuriken is a lot of damage and can easily kill anybody with no susano or shield. if madara wouldn't had petra'd that shuriken he woulda gotten sealed unless he used Perfect susano of course.

gaara pulled madara away from his regular susano and in an instant naruto threw an attack thats too much to tank he had no choice but to petra. (or Perfect susano but it wasn't revealed then) hence he said "thats a lil too much) madara had been tanking attacks non stomp before that.

and theres a lot of regular chakra attacks that are stronger than senjutsu attacks, that ofcourse depends on the jutsu. for example a giant jinton powered by tsunade chakra seal is stronger than a regular senjutsu rasenshuriken, but its not stronger than a giant senjutsu TBBRS. understand?

and jin or not rinnegan stomps bijuu's. a rinnegan user can easily absorb all of the bijuu chakra within a jin of course the rinnegan user would have to catch his opponent to do so. like sasuke did to naruto remember?

i said jutsu not another path. Paths do not equal ninjutsu i am very clear that you can use multiple paths but no rinnegan user has used a path while also creating ninjutsu

That is the question isn't it. By mangafacts, preta has no limit on how much it can absorb. Why shouldn't the rinnegan win? The answer? Plot. Plot does not allow it, simple as that. Naruto is naruto in naruto manga and so could not lose that fight. And apparently sasuke could not use all his tech. because he didn't absorb naruto's tech during the fight does not prove there is a limit but that plot shield were present. After all, obito used preta path to absorb one tails chakra + eight tails chakra + rikudou chakra from madara. If that doesn't show the extent to which preta can go, I don't know what will.

Show me some "manga facts" that isn't from a limited perspective. Preta was shown to have some sort of limitation, the fact that Rinnegan users didn't always have it available to them at the scale that this thread suggests. Regardless, Sasuke did absorb Chakra from all the Bijuu at once and maintain CT all at once. I'm going to just guess that he was straining and trying to pace himself.

If you want to call it plot, that's fine. But what happened, happened, and there has to be a reason. I'd say Chakra limitations are a pretty good guess considering the scale at which Sasuke was using his abilities in VotE 2.

i agree with a few things here, naruto did get nerfed too a TSB shield is stronger than a PS.

but senjutsu does nothing to petra, madara was shown absorbing hashi's senjutsu like childs play, also pain absorbed jiraiya big ass senjutsu rasengan.
