Who said anything about running? If he tries that Naruto goes Kurama mode and using his roar to blast him back and follows up by TBB.. If Nagato tries to absorb it it'll probably take him a while giving Naruto some openings to land a fatal blow with his clones.

Naruto can't regain himself after getting pushed back from an Almighty Push, which gives Nagato the ability to pierce a hole through Naruto's lung with a Laser Beam. Naruto only won you guys' opinions 'cause everyone's overrating him. Everyone's getting too excited about the theory of Bijuu Sage Mode, so he gets special treatment.

Don't forget that now naruto can fuse with ma and pa = longer in SM, he can make few SM clones and go ham taijutsu with that preta path guy

this is why I don't like debating this topic.. its preta path this and preta path that.. Naruto already knows about his jutsu that's why he'll have SM clones accompanying him. Bansho Tenin is countered by Naruto going Kurama mode using his roar to send him flying followed by TBB.. Nagato most likely wouldn't be able to do anything in that situation because of the force that sent him back but lets say he uses Preta.. it'll still take him some time to absorb it leaving an opening for frog kata from the clones.. Naruto summons the three toads plus Gamakichi to stall them. Also if you still want to argue against this Naruto can go Kurama mode and have Ma and Pa hide in the protection of the cloak to prep frog song.. CT is useless since Naruto can use TBB and Chou Shinra tensei is most likely tanked by the cloak.. Nagato loses a lot of chakra if he does either of those techniques and loses his deva path powers temporarily if he uses Chou Shinra Tensei leaving him weaker and more susceptible to Naruto's attacks.
