They could have make Konohamaru strongest after Naruto and Sasuke if they wanted to but they didn't because then it'll be like when Kakashi used to take main spot but in Boruto they just want him to get the shit done.Everyone else is 'side character' so don't expect much.

When he was a kid he was just a naruto clone and now he's just uninteresting and his show casing is very pale compared to other jounin like asuma, kakashi and gai. They should have made him more like hiruzen. What were they thinking and could they mess up a character that could have taken on two movesets of hokage characters. Obviously we don't need another naruto clone but hiruzens skill set would have been equally entertaining if not better
