Dude, Madara even stated that he somehow slipped past the rock! how would obito execute an earth style move if he can't weave signs. we saw him throw kakashi and get smushed.

The series has been building up towards this for a while, think about it. There have been a shitload of characters - Nagato, Itachi, Zabuza, the Kyuubi - that have gone soft and turned out to be not so badass; Itachi was doing it for Sasuke, Nagato got slapped by Talk no Jutsu after killing Jiraiya, Zabuza too was defeated by Talk no Jutsu and Kurama...talk about cute and cuddly. Now Obito was about as good as they come what with giving Kakashi his eye, saving him and being an Uchiha that wasn't a doucher...and somehow someway he turned into one of the series biggest villains. With Kagami we know shit about him - the stuff you pointed out was pure speculation and if he was Tobi, it would have little impact on the series. But at least with Obito we've known for a while was the friend that got away and pretty much reason for Kakashi being Kakashi.

yeah i guess so but, kishi wouldn't have to pull as much stuff out of his ass like right now saying that obito somehow slipped through the boulder.
