marriage is a death sentence in the naruto universe thats why you only see one parent for everyone, and those who have no children are flying solo even people who should be in the golden marriage yeahs like jiraya and tsunade

a lot of them actually have married parents just in a lot of the couples only 1 of the parents is a shinobi thats why the other one is rarely seen. most of them are only shown once or twice throughout the series but if you actually pay attention and think back to the old episodes they are there.
