Personality: Leon tends to be shy and realistic. He is a quick thinker and very observant. He is the embodiment of pure modesty. He can't bear to be taken care of but rather prefers to take care of others. He has keen, good intellects, and is very discriminating about those with whom he associates with. Handles business matters with good judgment and is not easily imposed upon or deceived. Leon is also usually materialistic in his view of life, analyzing & reasoning everything from his own way of thinking outwards. He is and attracted to only that knowledge that can be applied usefully. He will happily share his information with anyone, if he confirms their own usefulness in the world, and brings them eagerly out of their shells. Leon can become a good literary critic as he pays great attention to detail, being quick to see the weak points of anything he sets his sights on. This is due in part to paying attention to what the rules are (including religiously remembering them) and seeing other people break those rules and then going through the consequences of those very actions. Leon strongly believes in the people he loves and cares about; almost to the point of absurdity. It's not that he doesn't know their weaknesses but he strongly believes in that all people want is their time to shine. Which has pushed Leon to focus his energy into skills that will aid his allies because like he constantly says, "I am just an overglorfied robot with a nice pair of legs", alluding to the fact that he is a very serious person when it comes to work ethic - putting other contenders to shame.
He is extremely fond of harmony in his surroundings, having excellent taste about his house and attire. Leon always wants things that are in good taste, and elegant. Finally, Leon is usually fastidious about his personal appearance. Has a great respect for rank and position and is a great supporter of the law and the law's decisions. He usually develops this skill to improve himself and his surroundings as he places great pride in tangible achievements. People like Leon spend part of their lives heading off on detours and then suddenly emerging as someone with a remarkable sense of direction. He can adjust easily to change once he finds a way of fitting the new situation into his routine. As a result of his research into shamanism, Leon has adopted a spiritual persona. He now sees (in terms of viewpoint) things in a spiritual manner granting him wisdom beyond his years as well as good applicable experience such as running a shop. Background Info
History: Leon was born in a humble village in the Land of fire. His parents, Ryoshi and Odessa, were retired shinobi and had settled down somewhere quaint and quiet. They had four children, Johatsu, Leon, Momo, and Rekka. Unfortunately, a tragedy occured around the time that Leon was nine years old - Rekka had died from a sudden illness (too young you might say). This caused a rift in the family that soon began to take its toll. Ryoshi started flirting with other women in the village, Johatsu had left the village, and Odessa was deep in depression from everything going on.
Yet, Leon still continued. He went to school, trained in his spare time, and spent the other half buried in books. It was all he could do - learn. He taught himself many things either out of fear or boredom. He slowly stopped interacting with the outside world an started to withdraw internally. Inside, within himself, he felt...safe and protected. This drive to know and understand became his driving force and one of his greatest strengths.
Still, despite all his training, nothing could ever prepare him for real life. Inside his home he felt invincible and brave yet outside the village walls, he felt vulnerable and unsure of himself. But he had to try - he had to try for all the people in his life who couldn't. It wasn't enough that he had to see his sister die but after seeing friends, family, and warriors he respected die - it shook Leon. He was reminded time and time again that life is fleeting and if he truly wanted to make a difference in the world - he would have to try. No more dreaming, no more talk, and definitely no more theorizing the consequences. This was scary and frustrating - wanting to save the world but being too scared to do anything.
Yet still, Leon persisted. He kept training and he kept making mistakes (some say too many). He asked the greatest minds around him for advice, insight, and knowledge. It wasn't easy and it wasn't convenient. They all asked for things that required him to go beyond his limits and learn new skills. Eventually, with his perseverance he was able to make sense of the world through his powers of observation.
With fresh outlook on life after so many personal tragedies, Leon now devotes his time to training and helping his friends whenever he isn't buried in studies.

Sourceless Materializing Specialist (Water)
You can materialize your element or skill you specialize in without needing a source. This applies towards various Elemental Jutsu where logical such as Water or Earth based substances and Fields that require a source to first be present and not created such as Advanced Ninjutsu ( Rain, Sound, Ink, etc ).
Mind’s Keen Eye
Genjutsu of any type, other than MS-level or those cast by Kunino, appear 'flawed.' This means that regardless of the caster's expertise or perfection, there will be some kind of tell within the illusion that is very obvious; such as a visual illusion appearing like static on a television, a smell being off, or a sound not making sense.

Description: Yamato is a silver katana with a long and slightly curved blade with both the grip and scabbard being predominantly black. The blade features several intricate ornaments, most notable is a relief of a dragon at the endpoint of the hilt. The scabbard is black, made of traditional lacquered wood, and features several metallic ornaments on its far end. Being one of the legendary swords of the old world, Yamato is truly impressive in its design. The durable, chakra-conductive metal is able to extend to a greater length while maintaining its strength and lightweight once per battle, lasting for three turns. With a greater length, the user is able to perform techniques with his sword at a greater distance (up to mid-range) and damage (+10 to Damage/ +1 rank) however it requires him to hold steady with both hands and use a much larger amount of chakra (+10 to chakra cost). While this limits him to only sword-related techniques, it greatly increases his swordsmanship when used correctly. The chakra-conductive metal is only responsive to its wielder's chakra, being unable to be used by others and resulting in spikes to protrude from it (similar to how samaheda does when not in the hands of its owner). The weilder must remember that while maintaining this ability, it will continue to cost him one move per turn limiting him to two moves per turn.
