Who do u think is smarter? Lelouch from Code Geass or Light from Death Note?

Lelouch, but that might be favouritism. While Light can set up an entire plan months in advance and execute it near flawlessly without even KNOWING it was part of his plan, he didn't conduct any large scale military assaults, with a vastly inferior number of forces, as well as weaker forces from the start, and still come out on top in almost all those cases. For that reason I give the crown of cleverness to Lelouch.
Although my description of Light there does make him seem stupidly intelligent, so... who knows? They're both as clever as each other but in different scenarios I imagine.

No,that was accute - Light did complete his plan perfectly without even knowing it - he lost all his memeries and saw that everything was just as planned when he got his memories back.

Lelouch was more reasonable, but Light was smarter by an inch. Light applied very legitimate logic when trying to accomplish his goal (and he ultimately both failed and succeeded as he became a 'god' but died). Light failed in the end because of his hubris (and the ludicrously overpowered plot device character that was Near), while Lelouch simply failed to even pull off intelligent plans at all. I mean, he showed virtually Zero (That pun never gets old) aptitude for strategy and made several rash and eclectic decisions that ended up putting him in needless trouble, as well as being needlessly belligerent and getting himself in more fights than necessary. Anyone who's ever played a RTS would probably do a better job. Light made a plan where he predicted the outcome of what he'd do and what'd happen after he lost his memory and fewfold chapters ahead, and also outsmarted the smartest man in the world by manipulating a death god to suicide.

Light also, manipulated people to do what he wanted without a superpower, like getting people to stop committing crimes/having Misa and Takada remain loyal to him. Lelouch had to use the Geass to make people do what he wanted.

I could write more detailedly as to why Lelouch was inferior, but in the end, in all departments, Light was smarter by an inch.​

True, but there's also the fact that Lelouch didn't need to; here wasn't an L to match Lelouch intellect for intellect or at least not to the same extent as what Light had to deal with. Not to mention that Light had more to work with than Lelouch, because Lelouch only lifted a finger and his servant would do his dirty job.

Regardless, Light was the smartest character in the series and smarter than Lelouch.

EDIT: Second smartest character in the series. L was always smarter than Light, but by just a hunch.​

Lelouch even predicted how a person would respond and so tricked an intelligent enemy with a tape knowing full well what his response would be,how long he would take to respond ect.
