"I'm a knight of Montheria here on business for the king. I heard about the attack the vampires made against the elves and the assassination attempt on the queens life. Apparently that beautiful half-ling, Malyganya risked her own life to save the queen. Looks like the elven healers really fixed her up though right." he said with a smile.
Bertrand: Magic is wonderful... but no race appreciates the rise of technology. It's a pity, since us humans have embraced it so readily. Do not be surprised if we win the "race to the top", Miakoda.

Sasuno shook his head. "Actually, no. I came here for different reasons. it was only after arriving did i learn about the attempt on the queens life." he explained as the infirmary door opened up and malyganya walked out clothed in her gear wrapping her cloak around her body.

Nova: interesting so what were you originally suppose to do before this mess happened
Bertrand: how idealistic... peace can only be forged through war, until one race is above the others. It is merely the natural hierarchy and inherent instinct of all races. Coexistence can only be achieved through the blood and sweat of our ancestors. look back, Miakoda, at history. All of our races, through persistent competition and war, have created unparalleled eras of peace... sometimes, war is necessary to bring about the New Ages...

Sasuno shrugged at nova's question as his eye's roamed malyganya's body before it was covered by the cloak. "i was going to catch up with an old friend but now with war on the horizon i believe those plans will have changed." he answered noticing malyganya go to nova's side.
"Nova, who are these men?" malyganya asked looking over the two strangers.

Smiling Malygania turned to the men and thumped her chest. "i'm malygania, chieften of the nomad orcs." she introduced herself proudly. Sasuno nodded and bowed "I am sasuno and this is my companion Inashi." Sasuno replied with a soft smile.
Miakoda: *becomes grim and walks over to Betrand gripping his shoulder firmly and staring into his eyes with a cold bloodshot stare* You are young Betrand... let me tell you of this world... *Miakoda begins speaking to Betrand in a hushed voice so that Arie wouldnt hear him* There many different planes of existence... I have traversed 3 of them.... In my first life when I was Mia.. I lived in a world of relative peace, hunting with my tribe, interacting with the Elves of Muraco Nahele. Our people learned spirituality from them and enjoyed the fruits of the earth... That life came to an end when the Humans arrived... bringing with them the Vampires.....In my next life, after the slaughter of my tribe... I became *Miakoda begins to growl as his eyes grow colder and his canines become more apparent, his grip tighting* feral... My sense of reason had become soaked in blood and primordial rage.... I was in essence the very thing of which you speak... War itself, For many years I waged unyielding war with the Vampires... claiming many lives... I am feared by many of them...*Miakoda grins maliciously* I sought nothing but bloodshed and destruction of another race in order to establish dominance for my own *Miakoda continues to apply pressure and exert his predator's stare, looking at Betrand like a piece of meat* I have crushed skulls in my jaws for the glory of the Lycan... and now almost magically if you will... I suppose no one, even myself, likes war in a moral sense, but it has become a necessary economic factor in our world. This is an undeniable fact. I'm merely taking this viewpoint because it's the truth: War stimulates our economy. It promotes innovation and invention. And perhaps its greatest asset? It makes the people desire peace even more; when you lose something, you want nothing more than to gain it back... isn't that right, Miakoda? *Bertrand slyly looks at him, his cunning showing through*

*Bertrand looks up to the sky, pondering for a moment*
Miakoda: *shakes his head and then smiles* Come along then Betrand.... I personally need something edible....considering all I was allowed in the Hospital Ward was a mash of some sort... *Miakoda smirks* No substance.... no taste *Miakoda walks back over to Arie and takes her by the hand, leading them to a BBQ resturant*
