Legendary swords

How can they give Omoi a legendary sword in the anime filler, but not in the manga. That seems like a huge difference to me....

And why is Kishi hating on legendary swords? Now that Kisame is gone and the legendary swordsmen edos are defeated there basically aren't swords in the manga anymore. I feel like Kishi really missed a chance to give some people powerups by having them use these swords... For example, I kinda liked the anime filler giving Omoi the lightning swords, because it at least made him interesting. I had really hoped that Kakashi would use Zabuza's sword after that battle. but it doesn't seem like Kishi cares about expanding Kakashi's non-Mangekyo repertoire...

Omoi does not keep the lightning blades he is just holding on to them.

Omoi is more or less a filler character and giving him one of the Seven Swordsman's swords is inconsequential. Additionally, there doesn't need to be a lot of useless powerups.
