Not ready for the attack, Rayne gets slashed across the shoulder. She lets out a scream then unsheathes the dagger again. She surrounds it in fire and slashes the knight across the chest.

The knight gets knocked back and ghost appears behind it, driving his dagger into the back of it skull. The knight shakes for a second and then collapses to the ground, dead. A chest drops and ghost fumbles with his keys to open it

Syren sits on a stump, playing his violin, ignoring his surroundings. A melancholy tune is coaxed from the strings, bring up false pretenses and odd feelings. He closes his eyes and fades to almost an unseen stance, knowing full well that if one look, he can be seen easily. But he plays nonetheless, the endless draw of his bow tireless and calming as he plays. The song drags on, filling the adventurers with dread as it changes in form into a minor key. It slows and becomes eerily quiet, as if leading up to a sudden climax.
