Walking into the thrown room of the Dark King Ganondorf and his daughter Princess Grandorina the young Hylian Warrior Marc, made his way over to the monarchs and knelt before them. "My liege, you have summoned me?" he asked. Ganondorf rose from his throne and motioned for Marc to rise. "You have been one of my strongest and loyal warriors. I have a special mission for you." the King stated. Pulling out a small pouch the king handed it to Marc. "Inside this pouch is a Shard of Power. Rumor has it that the Triforce has shattered. Your mission is to find all the Shards and bring them to me. You have full reign to kill anyone or anything that gets in your way. Do not disappoint me." King Ganondorf said in a menacing tone but to Marc it was more an encouraging pep talk. Nodding the young man bowed once before leaving feeling the power of the shard radiating through him.

*sees a light coming from deeper in the cave*

*gets up and sees that the fishing rod got snapped into pieces, and the shield has a dent on it*

"Dam..."

*hears moaning and a dark silhouette rising next to the opposite wall*

*Redead comes forward and shrieks*

*body freezes*

"Can't move..."

*sees throwing knife next to the redead*

"...shit."

{item status: fishing rod: destroyed; wooden shield: damaged slightly}

Walking from the Hylian Castle Marc makes his way into the fields. from what he had been able to grasp, there was apparently a treasure off the coastline on a tiny island. pirates had taken to hiding their plunder on the island. It was with the pirates Marc hoped to gain insight on where he might find more shards of the Triforce and proceeded to head east towards the coast.
