Ghost struggles up, muttering a spell. Evella starts chanting a spell and the circle cracks and breaks "Damnit" She gets up and casts the same spell on Ghost, he hits the ground hard

While Evella is distracted with Ghost, Rayne uses her dagger and surrounds it in fire and lightning before throwing it at Evella's neck.

She moves out of the way but the dagger sinks into her arm and she shrieks
Evella: YOU PUNY FOOL!!! ILL END YOU BOTH!!! WAAAAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!! *the room grows dark and her body pulses with yellow electricity and she shoots a beam at rayne, piercing her shoulder

Rayne clenches her shoulder in Pain. "Aauugghhh!!!! You hag!!!! Explode!" When Rayne says explode, the dagger in Evella's arm does just that.

She falls to the ground, her arm torn off. She appears to be out cold. The circle around ghost disappears and he walks over, picking up the hag by the collar
To his surprise she is wide awake and she thrusts her blade through Ghosts stomach. He grunts and drops her, blood pouring from his wound. He drops to his knees and looks down at his blood covered hands
Evella: Ha!! Two shards have done you no good! *she chants a spell and begins transforming. She slowly takes the shape of a massive spider*

Rayne's eyes widen, both at Ghost once again collapsing and at the giant spider. "Darn...." Rayne pulls out her magic staff and takes a ready stance. At the same time she's thinking: Great, I have to squich a giant spider and save Ghost before he bleeds out....

Rayne groans in pain as both of her shoulders have now been pierced. She forces herself to use the staff and shove it in Evella's face while it's surrounded in lightning. Rayne winces at the pain that moving the staff brings to her shoulders.

Evella raises a leg to deliver the final blow when a blood red circle appears under her. She screams and retreats but the circle remains around her. Ghost is now standing chanting a spell in a different language than before.
The ground opens up and muscle and tendon covered arms reach out and grab her. She is resisting well until they come further out, revealing heads and shoulders. They are covered in muscles (skinless). They begin tearing her flesh apart and Ghost can be heard laughing and howling. One of them whips its head around and looks at Rayne, then back to evella

The begin to drag her down and she curses the two of them. As the last words leave her mouth one of the demons rips her head off.

Rayne flinches at the sight of Evella losing her head and when she flinches it makes her shoulders hurt. "Ugh... Stupid spider..."

They all return to the depths with the new offering and the ground closes up with the same symbol from before and all is silent.

"Ghost?!?!?!" Rayne runs over to Ghost and kneels beside him. She places her hands lightly on his chest and starts to heal his wounds.

He turns over and vomits blood. He begins to have seizures and becomes completely unresponsive. The effect of the death spell is starting to take hold

"What?!?! What is up with guys and wanting to get left behind when they're hurt?!?!" She sighs and looks over to the unlocked door then back down at Ghost. "Just this once, I'll listen but only because I know that with the shard's power I can help you." Rayne gets up and runs to the unlocked door and pushes it open. The shard is floating right above a crystal altar. Rayne reaches out to it and the shard merges with her skin. She can feel new powers building in her but now was not the time to splurge on them. Rayne dashed back to Ghost and kneeled beside him again. "Okay, I should be able to properly heal you now." she says in kind of a rush.
