Man the rooftop fight on the train was full of suspense. Same goes for Bowlin, Varrick and the fugitives VS Kuvira's guards. Kuvira's attack on Toph's hideout is something that is going to baffle me. Toph VS Kuvira and her army all at the same time. Maybe we'll get to see Toph Vs Kuvira and if Toph ends up with an advantage Bataar Jr. could help Kuvira.

It was an awesome episode for me, the reunion of the team, and Bolin's bending was awesome.

We'll definitely see a showdown between Toph and Kuvira, because she won't just sit there and watch Kuvira take down the Banyan tree. I hope Toph drives them away from the forest and tosses Kuvira around like a rag doll. If Toph loses to Kuvira, then I'll stop watching Avatar U_U (Like that'll ever happen :p )

Damn they have no idea what they're doing.

Toph is going to destroy all of them :whip:

My bet is she's transcended metal bending. Shell probably be able to do things other metal benders cant even imagine.

Only part I liked was Bolin + comp. Vs Kuvira's Guards. I like how Bolin is using his Lava bending to a "I'm still new and am learning so I just spurt out lava" extent while casually incorporating earth bending. Makes him nice and simple, not too OP.

I almost killed Kuvira when she said to cut down the entire spirit vine forest. Like, fr. That's Aang and Toph's little meeting place sanctuary. I don't know what the creator is thinking, but Immabout to storm in there and bust some heads.

Toph's totally going to rape their asses.
Toph along with the swamp benders will have a hard time against Kuvira's army. However, the spirits in that area as well as the tree are going to do as much as possible to hold Kuvira's army off. I don't know if Kuvira can win against the spirits but her technology does allow her to capture the spirits and make use of them. I think Toph will die defending the area though, she is too outnumbered and too old.

She's like Bumi, they get better with age. I think she's transcended metal bending and possibly learned to bend platinum (would be awesome if she can bend the iron out of Kuvira's blood O__O).., but yeah, the show's called the Legend of Korra, not the legend of Toph, but I really wish she won't get defeated; she's the greatest earthbender ever. What if the plot goes something like this? Got this from someone's comment on the wikia :3

Like with Korra, Kuvira will offer to go 1 on 1 with Toph because she simply can't resist beating the greatest earth bender of all time, who she thinks is easy pickings because she is just an old woman. When Toph kicks her butt senselessly, Kuvira shows her true colors and breaks her word by having her army ambush Toph. With Toph taken captive, it is up to Korra to save the world. Toph is sent to a reeducation camp and is reunited with her family, which we learn was Toph's plan all along. While Toph is rescuing the people at the camp, Korra goes on the offensive. Bolin and Varrick make their way to Republic City and tell everyone about the super weapon. Bolin, Mako, Asami and Varrick are sent on a covert mission to destroy the weapon. The air benders with Lin are sent on a mission to rescue the people in the reeducation camps, thus reuniting the entire Be Fong family, except evil Junior. They discover that Toph did not need to be rescued (remember King Bumi), but they join forces to liberate the other camps. Korra meanwhile leads a combined Fire, Water and Republic City Army against Kuvira which initially is victorious. The Covert mission however, does not reach the secret weapon in time and the weapon turns the tide of the war. Zhu Li, however, shows that she was not really a traitor and sabotages the weapon and rescues Varrick and company, showing that she is really smarter than Varrick. Varrick then proclaims his undying love for Zhu Li which is all she ever wanted. With the combined army decimated and Kuvira's Army still intact, only Korra can save the world. Initally, Kuvira's Army appears to be to much for Korra who is only relying on force to beat Kuvira. Korra then goes into the Avatar State and summons a Spirit Army, which shows that Korra has mastered her spiritual side which has always been her weakest point. The Spirit Army does not hurt anyone but uses its spirit power to stop the fighting. Korra then learns once and for all, like Ang, that force is not the way to restore balance. Once this is learned, she is able to reconnect with her past lives with the help of her new spirit powers. With the combined power of all her past lives, Korra is able to regenerate the Banyan Tree, which Kuvira killed when making the super weapon. Korra makes it her life work to unite all of the Kingdoms, not by force, but by peaceful democracy so that there are no longer any Kings. In the end, Toph is shown to be the wisest of them all. Toph tried to explain to Korra that her adversaries had noble goals of equality, spirituality, freedom and unity, but they were using the wrong methods - force. She told Korra that as chief of police she learned that force did nothing to change the world, but being connected to the world is what really changes the world. Toph does not get out unscathed, however, as Korra assigns Toph to teach Prince Wu to become connected with the world, which is a small price to pay for having her Banyan Tree regenerated. Toph begrudgingly agrees because Wu is a distant relative, she feels guilty for not being a great mother, and so she will have someone she can teach to take a punch. She really does miss having someone to toss around.

I've been expecting since TLA that that huge tree is in fact the hairstyle of some giant spirit creature that is sleeping under the ground with only his hair sticking out.

LOL that's very plausible in that environment Q___Q
