I liked it. I've always liked the water tribes better then any other nation so to get their backstory is cool. Also it was really cool getting to see Kitara, tenzen, boomy and the sister (kia maybe). I still love Bolin and the air bending kids there hilarious.

Whilst I was kind of expecting some massive confrontation to go down it was still a good episode. Lots of things happened that could lead to further plot development. The animation is also very nice.

Also the twins and bolin hahahaha.

Btw peeps there are TWO episodes.

As usual amazing animation quality Loved it that we finally got to see Kya and hear Bumi something say. He's pretty much a fulltime troll xd

Bolin and the alien twins are going to be the best triple tag-team ever!

And I knew there was something fishy with Unalaq. I'm not expecting him to be some kind of evil mastermind, but someone who strives to do good and then gets derailed along the way as why is there a need to bring the Northern army all the way to the South? Not for fighting spirits, that's for sure, so I can only imagine he wants to make the two tribes 'one' again or something.

But the mist intriguing part is that it seems Jinora is going to play a special role this season. Too bad though that Iroh seems to have gone again and I'm still waiting to see something of Sokka's legacy.

Legend of Korra Season Premier

Such a good Legend of Korra premiere. This entire season will pit the Avatar in a different setting entirely. Korra will be the first to truly confront spirits as a major threat. Fighting a monster who cannot be stopped as easily as a man is something else entirely. Everything with Tenzin, Kya, Boomy, and the family was amazing. Very interested in that. I love them visiting the air temples. #TenzinsFamilyVacation Bolin was hilarious. They didn't show Asami alot, but I'm glad they did show her and what she's doing. She has to basically fix everything wrong with the aftermath in the city. I expect her to meet up with a certain General very soon. Can't wait for the Korra-Gaang to get back together though.

So, I'm very excited. Legend of Korra has begun. Breaking Bad is going on. Arrow is coming soon. It's good times.

They said Bolin will have an interesting romantic twist. I believe Asami is starting to fall for Bolin. Asami now has no ties with team avatar what so ever right now. It's only logical. It's hinted with the scene where asami out of anyone else she asked bolin to come. I think it is more than likely. So surely Bolin will have his hands tied...

This episode (and the show itself) irritates me on so many levels.
Korra is constantly treated as though she has no say in the matter of anything. This on top of already being annoying and needlessly difficult.
Mako is... Don't get me started on him.
Bolin is alright.
I like Asami and the episode would be better for me if she appeared in more than a few scenes.
While the animation is gorgeous everything just seems so dull and boring. I had to force myself to finish the episode.
Meh, I'll probably watch the next episodes for the awesome animation and Asami.

There were parts about the premier that I liked and parts that I didn't. I honestly don't like the way Korra was treating Tenzin and her father. They have their reasons for doing the things they do; however, I realize that she is still young and headstrong and only learns from experience.

I'm not sure of what to make of the family dynamics that have been presented. I do know that I don't like Korra's uncle though. He seems very shifty to me and like he is going to become the religious zealot villain. As for Tenzin's family, I really hope Kya and Boomy stop picking on Tenzin and see what their brother is about. I know it's a sibling thing but he does have a lot on his plate. And did anyone else wonder why Jinorra reacted the way she did in the temple? I'm wondering if she doesn't have a deep spiritual connection already...?

Overall, I liked the premiere but I'm afraid that it's gonna take a lot of cues from the previous season and AtLA. For example, the whole eldest brother is banished thing. Zuko anyone? Plus, if her uncle does end up being the villain then it'll be the Amon/Noatok and Tarrlok aspect again. I'm really hoping that's not going to be the case though. I AM super excited however that we are going to get to learn more about the Avatar cycle and the spirits. Can't wait for that to develop!

me too, i was like "who the hell is attacking them? O_0" then 1 second later i get the answer

well, Korra is acting like a a$$,...like,...seriously, Mako was really weird in these 2 episodes imo, those twins are funny, mainly the girl's make up which i was like "OROCHIMARU IN LEGEND OF KORRA? O_0" those eye shades

This series is just amazing... It doesn't left me that akward sensation that it's just a cartoon made for kids, it's like is treating me with respect and quality
