Great, as if we didn't have enough troubles, lower the sexual intercourse age even further to encourage kids for more unrestrained activities. My random input because why not. With things like smoking, drinking, and ***, the ages of legalization alone isn't enough to stop someone from doing it. It's just a common part of society, so why even bother making it such a high age? Personally, I feel the age for *** should be 16, while alcohol & cigarettes should be 18. In Australia it is 18, which is pretty much the age for everything. At 18 you can buy alcohol and cigarettes, vote and get tattoos without parental consent.

And the legal age of consent is 16.

In my country, you are of legal age at 16. You can buy cigarettes at 18, but it's not illegal to smoke it if you're like 12. You just aren't allowed to buy it.
