Hinata POV:
“ Hinata…” Sakura cut it. “There is something else you need to know. I ran diagnostic tests and found something…” Looking up she continued “Hinata you are pregnant...”
Looking up from my hands, I sadly nod in confirmation “I know Sakura… I know…”

Sakura POV
My eyes widened as I looked towards her. Hinata I thought How? How could it be? This was Hinata…. How could be she be pregnant? My eyes widened further as I thought about who was the father of the baby was. There was only one person Hinata loved… So… I voiced my thoughts to her. “Hinata.. Who? Who is the father of the baby?”
Her breathing got hitched as the tears that she held back broke and poured down her face. Hinata cradled herself as she continued sobbing. “Naruto-kun… He’s the father of my baby…” Hinata cried as she looked up towards me with tears still pouring down.
My eyes widened and breathing hitched as tears poured down my face. I clutched and hugged Hinata as we both cried together – trying to comfort each other about the blonde haired shinobi who held a special place in our hearts… A man and a hero of his people… A man who was currently missing… Naruto…. Where are you??
Flash-forward – 2 weeks
Normal POV: Hokage Tower
Two weeks had passed with no sign of enemy conflicts and assaults. No threat to anyone. The people, shinobi and kunoichi alike. It had been two weeks since the kages decided that it was safe for everyone to return back to their villages… Two weeks since the war was declared finally over... Everything seemed at peace...
Tsunade drowned down the shot of strong sake. It stung the inside of her throat as she thought back. It had been two weeks since the Anbu teams were sent to find the missing hero… Two weeks since they were sent to find Naruto… Is the cost of peace his life? Tsunade thought while looking out of the windows to the village below. He wanted to protect this village to become hokage… Where are you gaki? You can’t die gaki... Not till you become Hokage.. You promised…
Forgoing the glass, Tsunade rose the bottle to her lips, when a knock on the door behind her distracted her from her thoughts…
Sakura POV:
I entered the room looking up to see the tear stained face of my mentor. She had been crying… No doubt about that… I straightened myself and prepared to asked the question that has been bothering me since I found that Hinata was pregnant… With Naruto’s Child….
“How is Hinata??” My mentor suddenly asked breaking through my thoughts and shattering my mask that I have been holding for her sake. Tears sprang to my eyes yet again…
“Hinata is fine… She is stable n healthy physically… Mentally she is strained n weak considering..” I sob. “Lady Tsunade… Hinata… She’s Pregnant… Its Naruto’s Child…” I drop down to my knees, tears flowing freely as I cry my heart out.
After a brief moment of silence a weak slurred voice of Tsunade asked “..What… What did you say Sakura??… Did you just say…”
Looking up from the floor I looked up to my master and reply “Yes master… Its true.. I checked it myself.. Its true…”
Tsunade POV
Sakura looked up from the floor and replied back “Yes master… It’s true.. I checked it myself.. Its true…” The bottle I was holding in my hands tumbled down and shattered to the floor as I stood up suddenly. I could see the truth in her eyes…
There had been no news from the Anbu teams sent to find Naruto. Hope of finding him now seemed… “No… No… Naruto…”
An Anbu squad appeared out of nowhere abrupting whatever was to be said. Out of their ranks their leader rosed and walked towards Tsunade – his white hair sticking out. “Lady Tsunade.. We found this…” Kakashi said shakily with tears dripping down his now revealed face - as he produced a tattered and fragmented piece of orange clothing stained… Mainly in blood… “Pakun confirmed that it’s his blood… He couldn’t track or find anything else… I’m afraid…”
“No No No!!! It can’t be!! Naruto… Where are you??” I scream out hoarsely “You promised… You promised you will be back…” I beat my hand into a fist and punch the desk shattering it punch after punch. “You can’t be dead Naruto!!”
Flash Forward - Next Day
Hinata POV
The ranks of shinobi and the villagers of stood all around me in silence. All infront of a smiling picture of him... One by one they walked to pay their last respects to him… To my beloved.. Naruto… I thought… How could you…?
The wind blew playing with my hair as I watched as each carried a white rose to pedestal along with their small prayers. I watched clouds darkened and as it started to rain… As the Konohamaru corps cried for their fallen leader along with other members – both from the ranks of shinobi and the villagers of this village that he loved with all of his heart… The Hidden Leaf Village…
I watched all this without sheading a tear… Holding a rare orange rose in my palm… I don’t believe what happening around me… I have to stay strong… He can’t be… He promised… I thought. Finally stepping forward, I walk towards my beloved - my hair floating in the wind just the way he loved.
Finally reaching the pedestal I grasp both my hands around the rose and close my eyes. After a moment I open my eyes and place my rose on the pedestal when it was grasped out of my hand by strong wind among with the other roses… I look above the pedestal to see him….
His eyes meet mine.. His clothes shredded sand stained beyond recognition - rose petals flying around him… But yet he was grasping the orange rose and smiling at me… He slowly floated down to me – his eyes never leaving mine... “I told you I will be back for you Hinata…” he smiled as he fell forward into my arms…

Sorry for all readers who had to wait this long for the chapter... I was distracted and out of it to write I guess. Sorry abt that - I hope to be writing now more often now. So stay tuned
