Aight so leg weights, first appear when Lee dropped them against his fight with gaara, boy everyone's reaction when it hit the floor was hilarious. Anyway, this increased his speed (doubled it) and improve his taijutsu, specifically his kicks. That is the basis of leg weights, to supplement ones already impressive taijutsu. The user will wear these weights, and begin to train in them, using basic body movement, mind you, it will weight the user down so much, moving in the first place will be difficult, but as the user gets stronger and gets used to the weight, it feels no different then where you never had them before, that is until you drop the weights. You're body will suddenly feel much lighter, that is to a certain extent. These weights are known well to be along side with EIG.

The weights allows a person to "run" fast, but the moment you are short range and need to attack, you will be slowed down for the opponent to notice you once again, so its not completely unstoppable, but it can improve your taijutsu and make you much more formidable. I specifically consider it an ability that allows one to force cqc into the battle, even if the opponent doesn't want to. This forces you to fight your own style, and not the opponents, which is always a good thing.

good shit as always

*summons a wooden dummy*

Beat that little guy up, in as many ways as you can think of, be creative in your attacks, make him feel the pain and let me see what you're capable of, gogogo.

Lancer dashes at the dummy, as he gets within range, he squats down, still facing forward, he extends his left leg outward, places both his hands on the ground, on each side, to create further balance, and push for momentum. Lancer then twists towards his right (--->), by pushing his hands on the ground to create the main force momentum. This essentially creates a lower swipe kick, attacking the dummy from the lower body.

As Lancer twists away, his back will be facing towards the dummy due to the momentum created. He places his left leg on the ground - which beforehand was used for the attack - and forcefully pushes himself upward, while continuing his spin to the right, this time extending his right foot. The heel of his right foot will make contact with the left side of the dummy (right side for the dummy), deliver more blunt force damage, and the momentum carried with the spin allows for this to be carried out fluidly, with one kick happening after the other.

Lancer from here would continuing spinning slightly to face the dummy, while extending his left leg. By the time he fully faces the dummy, he would place both feet on the ground maintaining his stability, and twists his upper body to the left, while extending his left hand out, bulging it together to make a fist. He would use the momentum carried from his spin to punch the same side of the dummy that the previous kick was performed, but this time would aim for the head of the dummy. The momentum and power would essentially break through the dummies head. Leaving slight bruises in his other areas hit.

Effectively creating a full body attack combination.

Alright very smooth. John performs a handseal to summon the weights, they appear right in front of you. These weights are not active as of now, they don't hold much weight to them, all I want you to do is put them on and walk around with them, do some kicks and whatnot. How do they make you feel?

Lancer picks them up, and attaches them to his ankles. Immediately he feels the sudden weight push down on him from his ankle to the ground. A feeling new to him, he starts to walk, almost awkwardly. He begins to jog in place just to get the feeling down, making sure they are not loose on his ankles. Jumping up, and down, getting higher with each jump.
They are attached well enough, now to do some kicks, he begins with simple knee thrusts in the air one at a time. Greasing the groove. He delivers some kicks in the air, as if an opponent was upfront of him, high kicks, around chest level. Laterally. Making sure to use both feet to avoid an imbalance.
He marks a spot no more then 100 meters away from him, and sprints repeatedly back and forth. His running form gets better with each lap, getting used to the weight.

Yeah, this is a new feeling entirely, almost funny to be honest, but a pain in the ass as well. I'll get used to this eventually.

Okay. Good, John performs one seal and it increases each weight by 20Kg. Now, try and do the same thing again with the weights weighing as much as they do.

The sudden pressure of the downward force increasing exponentially. O wow, this is insane...

Lancer begins simply walking around to get used to it, as difficult as that was already. His hips getting tired by just lifting his feet, he starts to bounce around on his toes, with the ground digging deeper and deeper with each bounce. Doing some quick tuck jumps just to see how far he can pick his knees up. Lancer extends his right knee as he stands on his left, and switches sides. Noticing the pressure on his knees by trying to keep balance.

The mobility is extremely difficult, my hips are in serious pain, knees almost like someone is pushing down on it. And ankles stiff.

Lancer continues warming up before he proceeds with some attacks.

First he delivers a rightward kick with his left foot. Attacking the abdominal of the dummy. Doing the same process as the right side. The speed is decreased on the kick, and even more so the power. Lancer tries some jumping knee attacks to its body with both knees. Getting up in the air much tougher to transfer the force.

This is unbearable, but I will need it for my fights....

Doing some more kicks, sprints, jumps, and punches. He is drenched in sweat, tried as hell, looking onto his sensei...

Am I done yet? T_T

And with that, come back in one month. During this one month period, the leg weights will be attached to you (your chosen bio) at all times. Battle with them on, see how they do. This month will just get you used to them.

(Katai Omori) Leg Weights
Type: Weapon/Supplementary
Rank: A-rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description:
The Leg Weights used for Special Taijutsu Training with Added Weights are made through the application of a sealing formula to ordinary leg weights. The sealing formula is used to, through the use of chakra, increase the weight of the leg weights to the desired level. The seal can't be applied to anything other than the leg weights and its use is restricted to its original purpose. One can remove the leg weights but the sealing technique in them stays active indefinetely and can't be released. Additionally, the Leg Weights and their unique seal calibration makes them only usable by the ninja to whom they belong. They can't be sealed or stolen.

See you in a month!

It was a weird month. I felt weighted down, and I was hardly able to move around in fights. During my fight with Kakuzu in my pursuit to clean the NW, I was hardly able to move as I liked, making it an elemental warfare, I was unable to utilize my body in that fight as I liked. After getting healed up, I actually started to train physically in the foggy mountains. I kept it simple, I started simple jogs and bodily repetition with punches and kicks. As I got better, I used my clone for a sparring partner, and interesting combinations. Overall it was tough, but I got better, and I'm more used to the weight.

I would dash at the dummy, as I get in leg reach, I would lift my right leg and pull it back while leaning to the left side ever so slightly to have leverage for my leg. I would snap my leg forward while twisting my waist to produce some force and pivot my left leg as the leg travels, delivering a powerful lateral kick to the body of the dummy. After delivering the kick, I would use my momentum to continue spinning to the right and hop forward, as my back is about to face the dummy, I would lift my shoulder, and keep my arm out with my elbow slightly bent so it can absorb the impact, clenching my left hand into a fist, I yank it back as I spin to the dummy, delivering a powerful backhand punch to the nose of the dummy, facing away, the spinning momentum would help produce a powerfully devastating attack. Again using the spinning momentum to continue the fast chain of attack, I would continue spinning to my right, this time facing the dummy, I would lift my right hand up, clenching it into a fist, but bending my elbow more, as I meet with the dummy head on, I would use the spinning moment for a boost of power, as well as propel myself forward, delivering a powerful straight hand punch to the dummy's face/chin. All of this would happen in quick succession.

Sorry, not my best descriptive work Nathan <_<

I felt amazingly fast, something I haven't felt in a while. Almost like a feather, my mobility and range of motion returned, and my quickness in short spaces also was great, especially hopping forward and regaining my stances. I was a little bit out of control, but I guess I will just get used to my light weight body more often after taking the weights off.
