Obito enters one of the hospital wards. He places the bottle in which the eye is kept on the table and lies on the bed, in wait for Doctor John though.

Walking out of the shadowed corner of the room, Kabuto slowly stepped towards Obito, his footsteps making sharp "tack" sounds as he moved. Garbed in a white surgeon robe, complete with the hat and face mask, Kabuto stopped and gestured for the man to lay down on the operating table.

Don't mind the bright lights and windows above... This is an operating theater, for educational purposes. Now, if you'd like to lay down, Madara - Kabuto's navel snake began to hiss as though it were laughing beneath his robe. - we may begin.

Helping the masked man onto the table, being sure to only touch his gloved hands and other clothed areas, Kabuto allowed a snake or pure, purple chakra manifest in his sleeve and shoot out, biting Obito's neck and injecting him with anesthetic drugs. After only a moment, the man was asleep and in the perfect condition for surgery.

Description: The user will charge a special chakra into one of his hands manifesting it as an ethereal pure chakra familiar, resembling a snake. It will then bite the patient, injecting a special chakra into his chakra flow. This chakra has a specific frequency designed to render a patient unconscious. The effect takes some time to establish and the patient needs to be still for it to be successful but is very useful to perform surgery, suturing wounds, setting bones straight, etc as it effectively sedates the patient and acts as a general anesthesia. The difference between this technique and normal anesthesia is that it lasts less and, if the target is resisting the medical treatment may prove impossible to use as he can use a variety of techniques to prevent the chakra from sedating him. While it can be used in battle, its almost impossible to do so because of the time it takes for the sedation to work and the need for the connection to remain intact until it does work.

Pulling his mask off so that it broke rather than remaining in tact (aka. taking it off properly), Kabuto began to run his hands up and down his arms as he began to hum to himself. There was no set tune - perhaps something he had heard once in the Ryūchi Cave - but it kept his thoughts from straying. Focusing his chakra through his hands as he ran then up and down his arms, Kabuto was cleaning himself, killing all germs and bacteria on his skin. Running his hands over his face as though he had just splashed water on them, Kabuto cleaned every pore and orifice of his face, as well as his glasses and hair after throwing the hat on the ground. After completing the procedure, Kabuto placed his middle finger on the bridge of his nose and pushed his glasses back up on his face.

Normally this technique is done on the hands and lower arms just before having contact with a patient but can be applied to the whole body in specific situations (before performing surgery, if the enemy is highly contagious, etc). After being done, the chakra automatically turns back to his regular, non-harmful and calm one.

With his entire body either sterilized or covered, Kabuto took a sterilized scalpel from the counter top next to him and carefully cut the straps holding the man's mask to his face. Gingerly pulling the mask off of the man, Kabuto looked at his face and grinned. So this was the man pulling the strings, was it? This was the so-called "Madara"?

Focusing his aggressive chakra to his hands once more, Kabuto began to run them over Obito's face, being careful not to harm him, before taking extra care to clean out the empty eye-socket. There was just something about sticking his fingers into a place that he shouldn't be able to that made Kabuto feel like this was his field.
After cleaning his patient's face, Kabuto walked over to the jar. The Sharingan was floating in some kind of green fluid, probably for sterilization purposes. This was the Sharingan he and his master had been looking for for so long. And now it was right there...
Ready for the taking... Kabuto muttered.

Shaking his head and once again humming the tune, Kabuto walked over to a table made specifically for summoning medical equipment. The table had the medical scroll laid out on top of it, removing one step from the medical summoning technique. Pricking his thumb with one of the senbon available, Kabuto drew the same kanji on three different parts of the table, slamming his hand on the table after each one. Throwing the senbon behind him as if he were to attack someone, the tool striking a metal plate before falling into the sink below, Kabuto then focused chakra to his thumb to stop the bleeding - coagulating the blood to stop any unwanted flow. He then rubbed his hands together, utilizing his medical chakra to clean himself once more as he looked at the roll of bandages, the gas mask, and the intravenous fluid set he had summoned before himself.

ガスマスク - gas mask with a bottle of oxygen that lasts 5 turns (Not 100% effective against all types of poison/gas. The purpose is to protect the user from breathing in toxic substances, keeping the lungs safe. However, if the poison gets absorbed through the pores of the skin it will still affect you).
流体 - a set to start an intravenous fluid addition line, helpful with dehydration amongst many other conditions

Moving back to Obito, Kabuto placed the gas mask over his face to supply him with a steady stream of high-percentage oxygen throughout the procedure. He then rolled up Obito's left sleeve, applying more chakra to his hands to clean Obito's arm completely of any pathogens or other substances which could potentially create infections or other complications. After cleaning him, Kabuto slid the needle of the intravenous set into the man's vein, utilizing his Diagnose ability to find the exact position and angle to set the needle in to strike a proper vein. Kabuto then began to walk back to the eye, looking up to anyone who was watching the procedure, squinting his eyes through the bright lights.
This is a complicated procedure! I don't need more complications.

Grabbing the eye from the jar, it was finally time. Pulling the fragile object out gently, Kabuto released his chakra to completely ensure the eye was truly sterile - if he lost this eye a second time, things wouldn't be pretty.

Now it was time for the actual surgery. Walking back to Obito, with everything sterilized, Kabuto gingerly placed the eye into the empty socket, using his chakra to both find and connect the proper connections, mending broken nerves and essentially making Obito's left eye good as new.

Description: This jutsu allows a high-ranked mednin to implant a human eye into another person. In case the eye getting implantated is a Sharingan or Byakugan eye, every activation of its special abilities cuts the users health for 1/4 of his or her entire amount of health points. Rinnegan eyes when implanted remain active at all times, draining the users chakra but not his health.

Now there was only one thing left to do. Using his chakra to feel around Obito's body, Kabuto utilized his healing prowess to essentially remove any injuries he may have sustained, making Obito's body in top condition, as well as ensuring that the eye was properly working with all of the complicated nervous connections needed. He then went and got the bandages, wrapping them around the left side of Obito's face to keep his eye concealed. Finally, Kabuto tapped Obito's chest, connecting the two of them with a thread of chakra. Taking in a sharp breath as his heart rate slowed, Kabuto closed and squinted his eyes hard as he got the concentration to back up and sit in a chair. Now all there was to do was wait for Obito to wake up.

Description:
This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by focusing mainly Yang chakra onto their hands, forming an aura of greenish healing chakra which he then sends into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it very useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique. The limitation of the technique is that it cannot regrow missing body parts or deal with poisons or toxins, though it can heal its damage. Additionally, perhaps its more severe drawback is the chakra cost, which, as the technique stands as a jack of all trades in terms of medical ninjutsu, is much higher than any other medical technique. For each damage point the user of the technique wishes to heal he needs to spend twice as much chakra. Basically, for X amount of damage the user needs to spend 2X amount of chakra to repair/heal. The user can also use this technique on himself and it can be used with one hand or two and even in two targets at a time or while using another technique with the other hand. The speed of the healing is fast but not instant, specially in internal injuries.

Description: This jutsu makes threads of chakra that the user weaves around there target, somewhat similar to those used by puppet users. The threads then embed themselves into the target and connect both the user's chakra flow and the target's chakra flow directly by the tenketsu surrounding their hearts and in that area. Because of this, the heart rate and chakra frequency of both ninjas equalize and become in-sync in the areas surrounding their hearts. Upon doing this, any alteration between the chakra flow of one ninja will affect the other in the same manner. If one ninja dies, so does the other. These threads are unbreakable unless you use a strong cutting jutsu (A-Rank and above). The technique can also be used to keep an ally alive by sharing with him ones life-force and forcefully making his heart beat as it feeds off the users own heart. This technique only affects the heart but as its the primary organ to sustain life it can easily cause affect the targets and users life.
Note: Only ninjas trained in medical jutsu or a Fuuma Clan member can use this jutsu.

Sitting in the chair, Kabuto grabbed a book to read while he waited for the patient to awake.

After some time, Obito eventually woke up, Kabuto alerted by his heart rate returning to normal. Setting the book down, Kabuto stood up, severing the thread's connection between the two of them.
Congratulations - you're awake. That means the surgery was a success. However, I wouldn't recommend using that eye for the next three days - time heals better than I can. Good day, Tobi.
Turning his back on the man, Kabuto began to walk out of the theater, his navel snake working its way out from under Kabuto's robe for the first time throughout the entire procedure.

Obito wakes up from his deep slumber and sees Kabuto.

Oh it is you.

Obito runs his hand across the left side of his face. He could feel the power, a new found power.

Like the doctor, Obito struggles and stand. His eye still drowsy though. He walks out of the theatre and into the horizon.
