well neji was extremely shocked in the chunin ark with lee in the fifth gate i dont know but im leaning towards lee beating neji

Lee's fighting style basically plays into neji's hand. Not a good idea to fight a gentle fist user in close combat. Chances are you'll come out the loser. Neji's doujutsu which allows him a near 360 degree angle would allow him to still see lee if he does blitz neji;

This doesn't explain how Neji will be able to survive this even in this current state he can't see lee in 5 gates U_U

U are clearly underrating Lee & Overrating Neji in This Case
Lee in Base Mode is has the same speed as Neji
Gaara's sand has more reaction & reflex than Neji himself Not to mention that Gaara's sand has the same 360 defense considering the fact that the sand was always around him & still Lee passed through it

What U are actually saying if u don't know is that Neji >>>Gai because Lee is equal to hi master in gates....He was able to keep up & even push guy in 5 gates while guy was in 6 gates U_U

Lee like i said can keep up with Neji in base mode & it doesn't take time to open gates Not to mention that U can't even be around or near him when he is about to open 5 gates

And is it just me or when did Neji become able to see faster than the sharingan..Because i recall that even kakashi the copy Ninja could not see Lee
