[VS] Lee vs Gaara again?

What if Lee and Gaara fought again?
Lee's extremely speedy now, alot faster than chuunin exam. He's also much stronger.
This being said, Gaara has a much stronger defense.
Could Lee outspeed the sand and attack Gaara through his sand armor as well?

The sand tsunami couldn't hit Lee, he's too quick. Gaara was in a fairly sandy area during the finals and didn't use the tsunami because he didn't know it yet. He honed his skills and used the new jutsu he learned during the Kimimaro fight.
I feel that Lee could easily defeat Gaara, Low-Med diff. Lee might not be able to fly, but he can keep Gaara grounded easily.
Also, Lee has the gates. He can penetrate Gaara's defenses, break through his sand armor, and land strong blows, as long as he hits Gaara in the air.
Gaara could just use the sand on the ground to cushion the blows, just like in the chuunin exam.
This is what I think but I'm sure different conclusions can be made.

Lee can take it with either Asakujuaku or Hirudora. But we don't know if he has it yet , anyway he could win without em with very hard diff as he knows what Gaara is capable of , he has got to be dumb to fall for the same again.

It's already been shown in Part 1 how speed is a huge problem against Gaara.

Lee's speed has gone to such tremendous heights that he blitzed Madara.

I'm not saying he wins, but it's not a stomp.

speed was a huge problem,he has had very little problems with speed in part 2.

Lee had both gates as well as kyubi's chakra to blitz madara,he dosent have kyubi's chakra here.

Gaara blocked c3 the instant it blew up,thats enough to show he can handle speed just fine. It's not a stomp,but lee has no chance

lee has shown only 5 gates,and that wasnt v1 chakra shroud,that was from BM naruto,his chakra was enough to allow kakashi warp a bijuu,when he barely warped a naruto clone. So that is pretty much a large boost.

However,lee's 5 gates didnt break the sand armour,and while lee has improved in speed and power,gaara has improved in defence as well.

I am positive that lee's kick isnt more powerful than a meteor,or more penetrative than a susanoo sword.

However like i said,lee only opens the first five gates,unless he has opened the 6th and 7th gate?

I actually expect that to happen.

But I have no proof that Lee went over 5 or even opened any gates at all.

Gaara has his defenses, and Rock Lee's taijutsu is overwhelming and costs a lot of energy. But, Gaara can hold his defenses for a long time, so he can wear out Rock Lee and that's his chance to strike. We don't know what Gaara is yet to be capable of, since he always has an unpredictable strategy, though, he can turn his sand into gold or minerals. Gaara is the defense, while Lee is the offense. Lee is faster, but Gaara's is faster too. So, all in all, Gaara wins.

actually,it makes sense,if kyubi's chakra can heal guy as fast or faster than 8 gates can kill him,he would survive.

However,lee needs to open the 6th and 7th gate before a good debate can be made.
