1. Manuver Kakashi out of the nails line of direction.
2. Approached Deva Path, redirecting his attention before the nail left his hand.

Deva pain alone is high kage level.

Also Deva doesn't need to say Almighty Push to do it. In fact a lot of shinobi say their jutsu name before or while performing the jutsu either to show what its' called if its a new jutsu like Almighty Push/God Realm was or just for the readers entertainment. Clearly no jutsu has to be spoken out loud to be used.

Kakashi with Gai,and Lee Vs Pain would have been epic - Pain would have been Taijutsu stomped.I never though about this. Another good thread.
