lee and guys speed

Maybe but Lee always has had the potential to surpass him. I think that Lee is better than Guy was at his age.

You cannot be aware of speed in the manga except when other people says "he's fast" or something like that to the character. Seeing that Madara said twice in the same fight that Gai was fast, I would say Gai's faster than Lee, even on base.

Base Gai's better than base Lee in all aspects, but not by much now. I think Lee's closing the gap between them fairly quickly.
