Are you kidding me?Of course Led Zeppelin!
Led actually "changed" drastically hard rock!I mean,go listen to "Whole Lotta Love","Dazed And Confused","Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" etc. etc.
Their sound was UNIQUE and SPECIAL,and still is of course!Jimmy Page (at least for me) is the GREATEST guitar player ever!He and James Marshall Hendrix are something else!The solos he performed live,but also in the studios,were outstanding!
Robert Plant's voice is(or was at it's prime,in 70's) something Extraordinary!I can't give an example cause simply,there are so many!!!John Paul Jone's bass skills were like god himself played bass!And of course Bonhah's drums were like he was beating the hell up of a random person!He was a maniac!And of course one of the greatest drum players ever,with his own personal style and clearly affected next generations!
Gn'R are...nothing for me.I mean Axl's is like shit and I think Slash's guitar skills are OVERated!!!!!
The real deal is "Pink Floyd vs. Led Zeppelin".
Anyway.I vote for Led Zeppelin of course.I prefer 'real' music and not shit.

I agree with everything you said, thats why I said I wanna prove a point, a point to my friend, so I created a few threads on the web to show him the comments ...
Led Zepp is my by far the favourite band and GNR doenst even make the top 10
