Obito, in a nutshell the guy decided to go apesht on the world because of his butthurt over the death of a childhood crush, you can embellish it with all the pretexts you want but that is fundamentally what his motive is as a villain. In fact, hes a fckin farce of a tragic character turned villain much less a genuine villain.

Tobi was a goof, but also rather cunning.

Obito isn't a real villain as his goals have aspects of good in them, but are simply corrupted and twisted. I kinda gave as much of an example/reasoning of this on your other thread about villains....just trying to avoid bashing him!

I know I know! It's for the same reason Gaara is there, it's just an antagonist that the manga treats like a 'main villain' for the time.

PTS Gaara when he was a Jinchuriki IMO. I didn't have any anger towards him playing the "Villan" role what-so-ever, Yet... I felt more sorry for him instead.
