ϟLightning Release(Raiton) is one of the five basic elements in Narutoverse.

ϟLightning is Strong against earth because it can easily travel through it, and break the ground apart.

ϟIt is weak against Wind, since wind is a natural electrical insulator.

ϟLightning has a somewhat unique relationship towards water. When using a lightning jutsu in conjunction with a water jutsu it can increase the power of the water jutsu to a higher level, and Vice Versa. But this also means, that if your still in contact with water and you use a lightning jutsu on the water to attack your opponent, you can be paralyzed by your own technique because your still in contact with water, and Vice Versa.

ϟLightning can be more powerful, when used by Natural Lightning. Natural lightning can be made by shooting a few fire release techniques into the sky.
For a example: Sasuke used Kirin on Itachi, which was based off of natural lightning.

ϟLightning release is also one of the components used to form the KG Storm Release.

Ninja often reffered to as shinobi in Narutoverse, are one the main focus of the naruto series, similar to how Pirates are in the One Piece Series. Ninjas usually come from hidden villages for the most part. Some however come from towns or small villages like Jugo. Ninjas earn a living from doing many misions and charging a fee; Those missions can be easy ones like searching for a missing pet, to harder ones like assassination. In times of war the the ninjas of each of their respected villages, are mobilise, and sent out to the battlefield to fight for their country and village. A Ninja is basically someone that can manipulate chakra to perform a variety of jutsus.

Chakra is what every shinobi uses in order to perform jutsus. It's the moulding of physical chakra present in the body and spiritual chakra gained through training and experiance when it is moulded it can be chanaled through the body, and with various methods such as performing hand seals is the most common. It can be manipulated to perform an effect that isn't possible to make such as walking on water, walking up a tree, and creating illusions
By moulding diferent ratios of the two energies new types of chakra can be formed.
There are five basic elemental chakra types(water,wind,earth,lightning and fire), these elements are often used by shinobi in order to create jutsus. Skilled enough shinobi can often combine two elements to perform a new type of element often know as Kenkai Genkai.

Concentrate on the Lightning element, by doing this and maintaining focus, you can successfully convert the chakra to small Lightning bolts. Make it surround your right hand, note this technique is weak, but is useful.
